This item works and wasn’t expensive. But you need to be able to turn the crank like crazy to get it to work. It would have been worth it to me to buy one that connects to a drill.

Cheap gloves didn't even last that long and wired gut stuck or bent use with care.

I have used couple of different snakes in my time, had one with a drum for the sewer. I bought this one for the spring in it. I took off the trap and went right in the wall, as per the user the user instrucions, the snake is now bent.Don't buy this product.

Although it is made of plastic, it works great! We bought this to clear out our drains in the showers and it works perfectly, it is compact in size and easy to use, no frills it just does what it is supposed to do.

Had a clog in my kitchen sink, which I couldn't clear out. Used 2 rounds of Liquid Plumber, which didn't do a thing. I could barely use the sink at all because it filled up so quickly. I was desperate, but didn't want to pay upwards of $100.00 to have a plumber come in. Ordered this and prayed it would work.It came quickly and I put it to use right away. No-one will ever accuse me of being "handy" around the house. It was a bit awkward to get things started, but that could have been due to my lack of handyman skills. I tried it once, but nothing happened. I gave it a 2nd try, assuming I was going to have the same result. but miracle of miracles, the clog opened up right away and the water never backed up again, no matter how hard I ran the water. So yes, I highly recommend this plumbing snake. If I can make it work, anyone can!

Bought this one for backup. I used my friends snake to clear up my kitchen drains. Glad she had one. This is the one she had.
