The Best Router I Ever Had
First of all the build quality is outstanding but that is probably no surprise considering it is designed for industrial applications. It is rock solid. The package is vast - it includes all antennas etc. Online documentations is very detailed. I posted a question online and it was answered the same day by the support team.I bought two external antennas for LTE (4G) - an omni and a directional ones. I tried both with my Huawei 5g CPE Pro but gain wasn't that great. Plugging the same antennas to the Teltonika RUTX11 made a huge difference. Both download and upload speeds tripled. The LTE modem used in the Teltonika RUTX11 is superior. It has two sim slots and it's convenient to switch between the two. You can set up failover conditions. Another nice feature is an ability to load-balance between LTE modem and a WAN interface. The firmware supports all the features anyone might ever need. What I liked about it also is its openness - all options are exposed via UI and even more can be done via console directly on the Linux OS running on this device. The Web UI is very responsive and feels lightweight and polished. I also liked the fact that most of the changes don't require a restart like other consumer-grade devices.Routing features are outstanding. You can bridge/route anything to anything. Create a VLAN per port, assign custom firewall rules, have all sorts of things like NTP server, GPS, Bluetooth, support for MQTT and even two GPIO pins with a nice way of reaching it and setting rules in the UI! The RMS allows you to control your router remotely via a secured, thoroughly designed way.The best thing about it is that it is so reliable that once set up you can totally forget about its existence! I was actually surprised that a device of this class has a simply 4 step wizard that you run through and it's all up and running out of the box. I see no reason of buying any other consumer device when Teltonika RUTX11 exists.

Excellent Mobile data device, for those with a bit of networking k owledge.
Great bit of kit. Much easier to configure that older generation RUT devices.

Absolutely not worth the money.
First thing, getting a sim in, they handily supply 2 full size frames in case you have a microsim. However, the sim slots are so poorly designed that my sim fell off the frame and inside the device. Huge red flag for me instantly. You can hot swap sims, but you still have to reboot the device for it to see the second sim. Rebooting takes up to 3 full minutes. There's 5 antennae supplied: 1 for GPS, 2 for mobile signal and 2 for WiFi. I was told WiFi had a range of 30 metres, that's just not true. I have my router set 12 metres line of sight from the computer and sometimes only 3 bars come up. Latency can be up to 120ms. I moved the router to 8 metres away line of sight and that improved the WiFi, but signal strength is no better than my 4 year old, humble Huawei MiFi dongle.Failover does not work. Or if it does there's a kind of secret way to use it. You won't find out though because Teltonika do not give tech support unless you bought the device directly from them, or you pay them for tech support. They do have a user forum but most questions go unanswered in there. There is no easy way to switch between the 2 sims. if you want to change you have to disable one, save that configuration, then enable the other and save that configuration. If you're lucky the router won't decide to reboot. If it does decide to reboot go an make a cup of tea while you wait.If I sit the router on my desk where the dongle normally sits, I can get much the same signal with the same sim cards as I do with my dongle and the B535 router. So far the £350 I spent on the Teltonika has shown an improvement in only one area, being able to use 2 sims. However it can take the same amount of time to switch from 1 sim to another on the Teltonika, as it does to simply swap sims in and out of the MiFi.There's obviously a lot more things built into the Teltonika like advanced settings and firewall and VPN's, but to be fair if you want them you would already have them installed on your PC anyway?I decided that given the hefty price tag, £350 as opposed to £40 for a MiFi, the few benefits you do get are not worth the massive amount of money. This one will certainly be going back as it does not do what the seller said it did.

This gives me 100+ Mbps 4G even with only 3 bars.
I chose this (more expensive) model RUTX11 over the cheaper model RUT240 because I wanted the best performance and all the extra features like 3 LAN ports instead on just one on the RUT240. It has a very fast quad processor which makes a huge difference in performance. I am able to get very fast speeds (up to 100Mbps) with only 3 bars (out of 5). I'm using Voxi SIM card and it works perfectly.I'm deducting one star because of the poor OpenVPN Client. NordVPN provides .ovpn configuration files that should be painless to load into the router and provide instant setup. But RUTX11 does not accept any ovpn file and you have to do a manual setup - which is complicated to say the least because there are sooooo many options and parameters to set. I tried many times to setup RUTX11 OpenVPN for NordVPN and I just could not get it to work. It shouldn't be so difficult to implement the simple download of a .ovpn configuration file into the RUTX11.My final solution was to plug in my already configured Netgear Nighthawk R7000 (with Tomato firmware) into the RUTX11 Lan port and use it for OpenVPN (NordVPN) instead - that works perfectly and again, very fast. The advantage of using an external OpenVPN router is that you offload the VPN processing from the RUTX11 allowing it's CPU to focus exclusively on 4G throughput.I got faster 4G speed using only one of the provided mobile antennas (not both). I also only used one wifi antenna to avoid any possible interference with the 4G signal/antenna.So far, I'm happy but I would much prefer .ovpn file compatibility and also a reduced price (£288 is too much! ).I hope Teltonika reads this and listens.

Powerful Cellular Modem
This feature rich performer is a great value for the money. It has everything you need. The OS is well established and robust the unit is well built. Performance wise it is right there with PFsense and Cradlepoint.Note: New installation startup passwords are on device label. I would suggest doing a hard reset by pressing reset button with power on until all five LEDs above Sim2 slot have illuminated. Then release.

Gran estabilidad

Great Router
I tried to post a review of this router and it was rejected by Amazon as a violation of the community guidelines. Really? I'll try again. Classic Amazon, they decide and send you email via a no-reply email address with little information and no way to get more. Sigh. Yet we all continue to shop here. Anyway...This is a great little router! I didn't have high expectations for it would appear that I should have. This is a feature-packed router that just works. Failover worked quickly and predictably, dynamic DNS, cell modem, wifi, everything I tried worked the first time except OpenVPN, which is probably my issue. Highly recommended.
