The media could not be loaded. Call me frugal, but I am always looking for a good deal. My wife loves to do her own poster and learning boards for my 2 little guys. However, she made little scratches in our table while cutting out some letters. Instead of getting upset at wifey, I decided to solve the problem. I went on amazon and found KC Global. They had a pretty nice variety of different sizes to choose from. As mentioned before, I am frugal. I think I paid $5.99 for the small one.Pros: Very durable. It would take an ax to cut through this material. The $6 dollar cutting mat heals itself (I had to see for myself) and yes, the light cuts did slowly close almost to a point where I couldn't see them. All the different designs and measurements on the board. My wife loves me a little more because she thinks I bought it for her, but I really bought it for our table.Cons: Not many. Now that she has used it a couple of times, I am wishing I wasn't such a cheap-o and bought a bigger one.Overall: Excellent product ant a great price.

My mat arrived today and I've been cutting fabric for my next project. I love the purple color and the grid lines - I like the dotted half inch lines in the one inch boxes. This mat is very accurate and my rotary cutter glides through the fabric without having to press too hard. This is replacing a 14 year old Omnigrid which has become pitted and has permanent grooves in it after so much use. We'll see how this mat hold up, but I like the fact that there are two gridded sides so I can turn it over when one side gets used up. There is no slipping when I'm using it and it looks so pretty on my cutting table. I will update as I use it more, but for now I am delighted with my purchase.

It’s printed on both side. That’s a plus. Good quality. But I wished it’s available in green.

I've been using the KC Global 18x24 mat to cut fabric for quilting for the past two weeks. So far it doesn't look like I've ever used it so I think it will last quite a while. I love that it has an extra 1/2 inch on each side so that you can cut a full 24 inches and not run off the mat. Love the purple color...markings are very easy to see. No odor. This seems to be a high quality product....very pleased!

It is bigger than what I have and I love it. The only con thing is if you push the blade in too deep, it will not ‘heal’ itself as they said.

this mat says its self healing. I haven't noticed damage on it yet, but then I haven't had the chance to use it much. I will repost when I have more time.

Good protection for my table for making my projects

Item arrived very fast. Seller contacted me to ask if okay to ship mat rolled up because it was too big. I gave approval and received my mat within 2-3 days. I had to lay the mat flat for 1-2 days to straighten it out, but it was perfect after that.NO funny smell that you usually get when you order products like these. The mat is extremely sturdy -- very thick and made of high-quality material. I have used a rotary cutter to cut fabric on my mat multiple times on a daily basis since I received it a month ago. Yet, I still am unable to find any grooves, bumps, marks, or cuts of any kind on the mat. Excellent quality! A little pricey, but very competitive with other similar mats. Once I saw the quality of this mat, I knew it was worth the price. This is way better than similar mats I've purchased at craft stores.
