The gyro thing is cool ... But it's just a gimmick.
My 'world's greatest pot' arrived tonight in time to use it for dinner. Here's my assessment (3.5 qt):As just a normal pot, it's just a normal pot ... but not a good quality pot. As a steamer, it will work great. Better than putting just any old fold out or silicon steamer basket in it? No. Until you want to get whatever you streamed out. Then it's better cuz you just pick up the handle. Now for the pasta using the basket .... The basket takes up a good amount of room so you're not going to cook a lot. I did about 4 handfuls (I have small hands) of wide egg noodles. You'd have to break spaghetti in half for sure. As far as draining it, it worked just like the commercial. Is it worth it? Ummm ... I think it would be better to go with a quality pot and get an actual steamer basket as opposed to the fold out one and then just lift to drain. The gyro thing is cool but not any more effective than just lifting the basket out.

Clever Kitchen Accessory
I would suggest buying the larger pot over the smaller one if you’re cooking for a family or crowd. The small one is just right for me as I only cook for myself and use the recommended portion of 6 oz. spaghetti.

Not as Big as I thought
Pan works ok but is smaller than expected. in order to cover pasta with water the pan has to be very full which causes it to run over when boiling. Works as expected though.

Very light weight
It works just like the description it’s a pretty small pot you can’t do a lot of pasta my complaint and the reason for three stars is the little metal basket that holds the pasta you’re cooking has scratched the bottom of the pot already. Update on 9/5/22: the screw that holds the handle on the lid Is now rusting, it seems a little silly that they would put a screw in a pot designed to hold water that would rust

It works for the purpose intended and it works GREAT!
This product performs precisely as advertised and works just fine. Some of the criticisms are not warranted and detract from the usefulness of this particular product. It does exactly what it is advertised to do and the price is right. All things considered, this is a super great item for the purposes it was intended.

Not easy to use.
Pot is too short. Long pasta does not work too well the basket isn’t deep enough either.

While this is a little bit smaller than I expected, it is a great product. Works as advertised!

RUSTY COOKING POT - DO NOT BUY
I bought this built-in strainer POT because I wanted to steam vegetables and pasta. However, after 30 days, I noticed a small section of the pot peeling on the inside. I always use soap and cloth to clean it, but the within a week, I noticed the spot got bigger and brownish, and I could smell the rust. I could see the colors of the chemicals coming off. Do not buy this pot - not worth the money.

Only pot I need!
This pot is the perfect size for single or couple, and works as both a cooking pot, strainer and steamer. It even keeps food off the bottom and suspended in the water which means less things sticking and burning to the bottom of the pot where its hottest.
