Headwind Consumer Products 820-0300 Hang-a-Pot Adjustable Clay Pot and Saucer Holder

This was NOT the product I was looking for one day, but I stumbled upon it and was intrigued. We just put up a wooden fence and I thought these might be a neat alternative to plant hooks for hanging plants (also not what I was looking for). I ordered 1 (set of two) to see how they worked and looked.I'm really happy and impressed with them. They were easy to screw in (right to the fence post) and they look great. I got the largest size pot they hold. They are sort of an orangish/terra cotta color, and our fence is stained cedar so they don't stand out. They feel really firm and have already made it through one rain storm. I actually ordered another set so I could have 4 total.

This looks nice. I don't care for the way the saucers fit and it's hard to put them in and near impossible to put the saucer in when the pot is in place first. Plastic is fairly tough but not sure the saucer adjusting mechanism will last long.

Excellent product - delivered on time as promised. Will order more.

Works fine, but is visually only functional. A different color would be nice, or even something decorative as well as functional.

I thought that the principle was the same for any kind of pot -- not so. My plastic pots fell to the ground. (I don't have clay pots for outdoors b/c they whisk away moisture and have to be watered everyday here in Philly in the summer.) So as the one reviewer said she was ok w/these, I'd say be sure that you're using clay pots w/this type of hanger.
