I have tried several different fuel treatment / Cleaners. This has been by far one of the top 2. I have used both the tank cleaner and fuel conditioner. It really works it did take a couple tanks before I noticed how much better my truck was running. I have a 2017 Ram 3500 DRW. I still use howes when it gets cold. It’s worth trying if you have a rough idle, or just want to see if you may get a little boost in performance. It’s worth the cost and I am a repeat purchaser.

I have been using Star-Tron fuel additives for years....The enzymes eliminates contaminants and water. As a farmer I have to store large containers of gas and diesel. I found that The Star-Tron Gas Tank & Fuel System Cleaner not only cleans the tanks but it, also, ( by itself ) is a great additive for gas and diesel....and cheaper than buying specific Star-Tron for gas or diesel. (just use the same dosage required). Star-Tron might not like my suggestion but it works for me.

used to flush tanks on a 40ft boat that was sitting for 3 years, pumped tanks out added fresh fuel and ran all season without any issues. going to add again at the end of the season.

My boat sat for 17yrs with a tank full of gas. The tank was full of varnish. After 12 months of trying this. It removed a small amount of the varnish, but I had to remove the tank and scrub the inside to get it all. I was probably expecting too much, but it was too expensive to do so little.

We've had a large problem with diesel degrading into asphaltenes in generator tanks. Nothing seemed to clean the sticky tarlike deposits off the tanks and valves until I used Star Brite. Star Brite dissolves the asphaltenes from the tank into the diesel which can then be pumped out and replaced.

Put almost 2 oz in 5 gallon bucket of old (but very clear looking) diesel in a bucket. I put the fuel filler neck hose (about 2ft hose) from my 1985 F250 6.9L midship diesel tank in the bucket for almost two days to see if it would clean, or even soften the gummy sludge/varnish. No noticeable cleaning of rubber hose. It says to use 1 oz for 4 gallons. Used a clean white bucket and no residue on bottom of bucket. It's expensive, so I am disappointed. Maybe its good for preventative maintenance?

Great stuff. Better price than small bottles per oz.

I use 3 gallons of this tank cleaner and I didn’t see a difference I still see filthy on the tanks walls.
