My wife loves it!
Seems to be a decent amp. Ability to bridge one side for 2 10” subs and run a set of 6.5’s on the other channel without any lows. Put it in my wife’s Jeep and now it rocks!

A whining problem
Too bad this is a critical review. I think that the Formula Series 400-Watt 4-Channel Class AB Amp from Quart would meet my need for more power and clarity while listening to music or the news while I commute two hours a day -- except that it whines intermittently. The installation wiring and chassis ground for this amp have been checked and rechecked. When that loud electrical whine starts coming out of my speakers, sometimes just reaching under the seat and tapping the case of this Quart amp will make the maddening sound stop -- for a while. Three or 4 minutes later, the problem reoccurs, and my beautiful sound is almost drowned out again by the loud electrical whine. My install guy can't figure this out. With all his professional experience installing car stereos, he said he never had a problem with a Quart amp before. It could be something as simple as a cold solder joint somewhere inside the unit making intermittent contact. Unfortunately, it was shipped to me five months ago, so the return window is closed. I wish I could exchange this unit for the exact same model -- but without an intermittent whine.
