Easy assembly. A simple philips head screwdriver is necessary. I assembled it in a half hour, and our cat loves it. We put a pad and some toys in the bottom "house" and a bowl with food on the top. Works like a charm to keep our small dog out of the cat food. Seems like this is going to be a favorite. It has caps over the bottom of the legs, which I didn't notice in the picture when I ordered it. I like that it has the protection, because I have it on a tile floor indoors and wouldn't like it to scratch. It can also be used outdoors. The colors are attractive, and would be useful indoors or out. I think this is a pretty good value and am happy with the purchase.

I expected the materials to be a bit more durable for the price- everything is pretty thin. I think it will last awhile because it is on a covered porch that just get with with wind or heavy pours. The stray cat who has adopted us- fits in it snuggly with a good bowl- would not accommodate more than one full size cat I don’t think.

So I bought this to keep the dog out of the cat food. It works perfectly for that and looks cute in my kitchen.Pros:Super cute and not abrasive colors. I don’t mind it being in my kitchen at all.Seems sturdy if you put it together right.Decent footprint - not too big and not too small for usIt works for what I needed and provides a hidey hole for the cat to sleep in. I put a little bed in there.Sort of easy to put together. I did it in about 20 minutes. Would have been easier with more pilot holes for the steps.Cons:One leg is vey very slightly short which creates a tiny wobble. I fixed that with a piece of folded cardboard.The pilot holes for the steps are missing which makes it super confusing. Also, you have to get it right the first time if you don’t want a bunch of messy holes. Use a level and don’t attach anything until you read all the instructions completely AND test fit it all together.Would not be weatherproof without some varnish.Some screws were missing. Not a dealbreaker because I’ve got plenty laying around but that could have been very frustrating.Tools:A cordless drill and a Phillips head screw driver. (I suppose you would do it without a drill but since a few pilot holes are missing a drill makes it faster.)Overall, I’m happy and would recommend this cute little house.

it's a pretty cute design, good little size for my small apartment too. I got it to keep my dog out of the cat's food. haven't used it for that yet cuz it stunk so bad of like pine and some sort of chemical that i'm giving it a few days to air out. putting it together was kinda annoying given that the wood really stunk and made my hands feel gross, the directions are super vague and the pilot holes were slightly off so I had to really work the screws in at an angle in a couple places. I put a couple coats of outdoor mod podge on the floors to protect the wood a little more... the wood is really thin, the floor didn't come together perfectly so theres a big crack in the middle but ill just put a mat over it. i'm gonna make it work but it's just not great overall for nearly $80.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a bit small but we use this to feed some stray cats outside, give them some shade while they eat in our small porch. It’s really cute and easy to assemble. One of the strays we’ve been taking care of loves it as you can see😭

This is a really cute house and fits with the decor of the outside of my house. It was easy to assemble. I had it together in about 20 minutes. It is not weatherproof, but I bought it to use in a covered garage and already knew that from other reviews. My outdoor cat does not like confined spaces, but I bought this for windy and rainy days when my garage, though covered, would still be messy. If she wants to stay dry, it will serve the purpose!

I should have listened to the other negative reviews. This fell apart as I was trying to put it together. It was missing pieces straight out of the box. I'm going to try to put it together again with new screws and a small power drill because it wasn't exactly cheap, so I would like to be able to use it.The wood seems sturdy enough to hold my cat once together, but unless you want to have to totally rebuild it, I'd just get a different one.

It is exactly as pictured. The assembly at first was a bit challenging since they are just images. Thankfully, my husband was able to put it together with minimal support from me. Once done, it is def sturdy. Our cat is very happy and using it. Helps to keep our puppy out of her food too!

Das Haus ist recht schnell zusammengebaut, Bohrlöcher waren bei mir perfekt. Sieht hübsch aus und die Katze ist auch schon interessiert.

This only took about 10 minutes to build i optionally removed the side steps to place next to my desk, I bought this for my pregnant cat and I am more than impressed it’s beautiful and there is plenty of space

Cela fait 3 jours que ces deux niches sont sur la terrasse et …. les chats n’y rentrent pas. Normal car le bois dégage une odeur très forte qui pique les yeux. Ce n’est pas le pin mais la peinture ou les produits chimiques de protection.Je dois Reponcer et repeindre à ce prix ?

It's okay. The parts didn't really fit together properly and required a bit of coaxing, parts from the hardware store, and a drill bit to make it all work. The wood is quite fragile, almost foam-like. It looks nice, the colour is nice, the size appropriate, but my cat won't go near it. I'm thinking it might be because it reeks of the paint/stain odour that has filled my house. So, I've put it outside to gas off a bit.
