For dog dementia issues, these have given us our lives back!
We have a senior dog who is struggling heavily with dementia. She has begun the road of "sundowning," i.e. sleeping all day and NOT sleeping at night. Instead, she wanted to be awake, pacing and circling the house for hours on end. Since she has forgotten how to use the doggy door (or even remembers where it is), she began having tons of potty accidents in the house. We were at our wits end with getting almost no sleep at night trying to take her outside every couple hours so that she could relieve herself. I would stay up until 2-3am, my husband would wake up around 5-6am. It was getting exhausting, breaking us emotionally and greatly affecting our physical health. Not to mention, our carpet is ruined. Desperate to find a solution, I researched doggie diapers and found these gems. THEY ARE MAGNIFICENT and have given us our lives back! They are incredibly absorbant and have never onced leaked. They hold ALL her pee. They seem to wick away moisture enough that she has not gotten any type of irritation or rash if she wears a wet diaper for a couple hours after she pees (if we are sleeping.) They are well-constructed and made of quality materials. VERY PLEASED at how well they are made. I am an avid sewer and for the price, it would not be worth my time and effort to try to make something homemade that would work better than these beauties. The sewing and finishing touches are very nice (no exposed threads, everything is even.) The company uses a small thread count which makes for strong seams and seamless, smooth edges. Here are a few of the features that we love about these:1) The Velcro is incredibly strong, almost TOO strong ha ha (has never once come undone);2) The tail hole is a good size and very comfortable, not too big or small, and is nicely finished around the edge with binding material;3) The legs are ADJUSTABLE by pulling the inside elastic and fastening to a button. This allows us to make the legs a perfectly snug, but not too tight fit, for her little body;4) There are snaps on the back/top (above the tail hole) that allow for even more precise adjustment to snug them up, but we do not use these and found that the fit works better when we leave those undone; 5) These wash out beautifully. When she goes potty, we rinse these under the faucet for a minute. Since we have six diapers, we keep a small bucket filled with a mild solution of water, liquid laundry detergent, and 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide and we toss the soiled diaper in this bucket until we can wash them in the machine. They come out perfectly white, no stains, no odors, no pilling, no shrinkage, no fading. Be sure not to use fabric softener on them, and lay out to air dry. I do not use bleach when I wash them. I use laundry detergent, hydrogen peroxide, and sometimes a little bit of vinegar.Things to note: 1) They do NOT catch poop. We are still searching for a solution for that one; 2) We ordered two sets, and the second set arrived with Velcro that is a full one inch wider than the first set. The wider Velcro (2.5" wide versus 1.5" wide--SEE PHOTOS) was much more cumbersome to put on her little body and the it also seemed to dig in to her waistline much more than the 1.5" wide Velcro. She was uncomfortable and unable to move when we used the wider Velcro diapers, so because of that, I rehabbed all three of the 2.5" wide Velcro by removing it, cutting it down to 1.5" wide, and resewing back onto the diaper. MANUFACTURER PLEASE TAKE NOTE: the wider Velcro is not better. Also, it was SOOOOO HARD to un-Velcro it! It is strong enough to begin with in the 1.5" size, but the 2.5" size was ridiculous. I suspect that someone who has arthritis would not be able to pull apart the wider Velcro--that's how strong it was.We purchased the medium size and they fit perfectly. For reference she is little, about 12 lbs., and the measurement from her collar to the base of her tail is 15.5".THANK YOU CUTEBONE!!!! :)

THEY WORK!!
One of my little ones suddenly began having “accidents” either in her sleep or as she was waking up.It’s important to note, she sleeps and naps on my bed along with her sister and a multitude of their babies to cuddle up with. After with a few weeks of “accidents”, but only when she’s sleeping or upon waking,I didn’t know what we were dealing with. It was unlike the only other experience I’d had with a dog’s bladder infection where he peed all the time and everywhere. Finally, in spite of Covid-19, we got in to see the vet for this problem. She has/had a bladder infection and vaginitis, probably from licking, being a little uncomfortable due to the bladder infection. We began a 10 daycourse of antibiotics. Because she wasn’t having accidents all over the house, we didn’t know if the infectionswere responsible for her “accidents” alone or if they contributed to it but she was developing incontinence. After all, it’s quite common with older dogs and my girls are both 14.I continued to “deal” with her wetting MY bed, although less frequently while she was being treated for the infections. The final straw was when she was curled up against my hip, not on top of the covers, but on the bottom sheet as I sat here & worked on my computer last Fri —she had another one. It immediately soakedright through the sheet into the foam mattress topper!Hello Amazon, I need doggie diapers…now!I started out researching disposable ones because that’s primarily what came up in my “search”. But I hatedthe idea of putting her in plastic and adding to all the baby diapers already in land fills. After spending hours, reading, learning about disposables, as well as the cloth ones, I settled on these CuteBone diapers and boughttwo packages of 3. They arrived last night. The first one, after adjusting the leg openings, was put on her before she settle down for the night. It was dry when we awoke this morning but the girls got off the bedahead of me and raced to the doggie door. OOPS! She went potty like a good girl—outside. Unfortunately, she still had her diaper on. Okkkk…. I caught her on her way back inside, removed & hand washed it immediately. and put it outside to dry. After breakfast I put a clean one on her and she settled down for a nap with her sister—on my bed. A few hours later, they both awoke and getting ahead of me, again, got off the bed and raced to the doggie door. Again, being a good girl, she went potty outside….but with her diaper still on--again.And, again, I grabbed her on the way back inside, removed the now wet diaper, washed it and put it outside to dry in the sun. The first one almost completely dry already but it is mid-July and warm outside.Now…. I’ve learned two things……these diapers really do work and I need a new system so I get the diaper offher BEFORE she goes outside to go potty. We finished the antibiotics over the weekend and will be returning to the vet this week to make sure we’ve gotthe infections all cleared up. I still don’t know if she’s also dealing with incontinence, or if this is over, sincethere have been no accidents for a couple days. I figure with two 14 yr old girl dogs, if we really don’t need the diapers now, but with as common as incontinence is in older dogs, odds are we will.My experience, after her first thing in the morning potty being well contained within her diaper—I wish I’d had these about 3-4 weeks ago when the accidents first started.Getting a good fit is paramount in preventing leakage. First you must knowyour dog’s waist measurement and the distances to it from the base of yourdog’s tail both on their back, as well as on their belly.CuteBone’s diapers are adjustable 3 ways:1) The waist has a lot of adjustment with all the velcro present on both the strapsand the back of the garment.2) If you look at the inside, you’ll notice a little button on each side where, when you put it on your dog, will form the leg openings. You need to unbutton that button. It comes buttoned in the first buttonhole. If you unbutton it, and pull out the strip it’s buttoned through, there are a number of additional buttonholes. As you pull the strip out, you’ll notice the side of the diaper begins to pucker as you draw that side up, making it smaller. I moved the button 4 spaces, or button holes, on both sides and it fits my dog perfectly inthe legs.3) On the outside back of the diapers I received there are 2 sets of snaps. You can snap them together, shortening the length of the garment, tail to waist on the dog’s back. The website ssys they’re shipped randomly, with or without the snaps. I suspect as they use up the inventory of the older style ones without the snaps, the new ones with them are all there will be.After her first thing in the morning urination, I know these will hold a lot of urine. When I removed the diaper, there was no run-off —it was all contained within the permanent, sewn-in pad.My dog weighs 11-12 lbs. Her waist measured 11 1/2”. I’ve forgotten exactly what her waist to tail measurements were but I think they were ~ 4-5”. Unlike on the charts there wasn’t a big difference on her whether measuring her back tail to waist or belly side, tail to waist. I bought the small and they work great. The fit, after adjusting the legs, is perfect. She doesn’t mind wearing it at all and iIt doesn’t appear to restrict her movements.I feel better about keeping her in cloth panties instead of sealing her up in plastic, if we need to live like this from now on. There are numerous patterns and colors of fabric that make them a little more fun. I chose the Doggie Floral D14S and Doggie Butterfly & Flowers D22S for my girls. They’re bright and cheerful and aren’t obviously a diaper, thus preserving her dignity.I hope this review helps others facing incontinence problems with their 4 legged children. I highly recommend these CuteBone diapers.

Adjustable, easy, dog loves them!
My Pup is a chiweenie (7 months old) about 7 lbs. she “started” her cycle yesterday, someone said to try diapers, and I never thought it’d work, but I took a chance. They arrived this morning, and honestly, she seems relieved to have it on. I love how absorbent they are, and they are adjustable!! It hasn’t come off her, although I took one off, and hand washed it,- that’s when I knew I had to write a review!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To my surprise she hasn’t messed with it at all. I’m so glad I took a chance w/ this item!! She is getting spayed in a few weeks, but I will be gifting these, and happy to give anyone the information for this product! So cute too!! (🐷🦄 & 🌈 we’re the only ones w/next day delivery) 10/10 highly recommend

They work
My Miniature Schnauzer is 8 months old/ 12lbs I got size small according to the measurement chart - they are a little too small I wish I got mediums, I'll probably buy mediums because the quality is so great and the Velcro is strong . Ive already washed them and they perform just as well after washing. My female is in her first heat cycle and these are doing a great job keeping her ( and our furniture) clean. The 3 pack is nice because I can change them out when soiled, put a fresh one on and throw the soiled one in the wash. They do a good job of wicking away the moisture from her skin too I really like that so she doesn't get irritation/infection.

Lifesaver
XS fits my 3 pound Yorkie perfectly and protects it well against males. The padding is sewn and there are small adjustable elastic bands for the thighs. The outside is a flexible plastic and it stays dry in the snow. Very satisfied with the product, I will buy again without hesitationXS fait parfaitement à ma yorkshire de 3 livres et la protège bien contre les mâles. Le rembourrage est cousu et il y a des petits élastiques ajustables pour les cuisses. L'extérieur est un plastique souple et elle reste sèche dans la neige. Très satisfaite du produit, j'achèterai à nouveau sans hésitation.

Actually fits!
I didn't have high hopes for this as I have a 70 lb Shepherd with a giant, fluffy tail, but these fit right over her tail, are highly adjustable and come back looking clean after they have been washed. They're also absorbent and the patterns on the fabric are nice.I'm quite happy with this product. It looks like a lot of thought went into the design and utility of the product. Our dog is ok with putting them on and she doesn't fuss with them, so I'm quite happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Too large of a tail hole
We got these small or extra small diapers for my shih tzu but they came with very wide holes for the tail, my mom had to open the brown part up to tighten the elastic already in place to make sure it would fit normally. I don’t know if it was a manufacture error or if all of them all like these so be aware ! Otherwise they absorbed a large pee without wetting my dog or leaking & are super awesome for adjustment on the back and in between the thighs (it has a tightening strap with buttons).

They work
I bought these for my girl in heat, and also so that she doesn't get blood all over the house like she has been (we are getting her fixed soon). We measured her, went according to the size chart, and they fit nearly perfectly. Only issue is that the waist band is a little thick so it curls when she is wearing it, but she likes them and seems comfortable!
