My Dutch Grandson and son in law love this windmill for their wooden train set!
My husband assembled it. He said it was easy to assemble.

Not toddler sturdy
Sturdiness is not great. My toddler laid back on it and the track cracked (no clue why). I was able to repair it with wood glue. The building survived just fine. If all else, it’s assembled in such a way that I could easily remove the split track and just use the building as is.

It is pretty good
Grandson really likes it. Then track thru the windmill is shorter than any of our wooden track so it makes it difficult to make a balanced oval track because the windmill side is always shorter.

Great product
Son loves this for his brio set. Only thing I’d say is it was a bit hard to screw the windmill bit on

High quality wooden windmill
We purchased this windmill for our son when he turned 2. He loves trains, tunnels and things that perform 'actions'. So this seemed to be a perfect part.On arrival, the windmill was mostly complete, but required a small amount of assembly. A crosshead/Phillips type screwdriver is required to attach the wind sails (sails or blades?! I'll stick with sails for this review) to the rotating poll. You can screw the windmill sails so they're on either side of the toy, the only real different this makes is whether or not it's on the male or female side of the track piece. This may be a consideration if you or your children have a 'preferred direction' you want your wooden track parts to take, but for us we just chose a side at random. I would suggest this is a one time thing, as unscrewing and re-screwing the sails would likely cause the screw to become progressively more loose each time you unscrew it.The toy is solid and well built, but the wind sails would be the weakest point, and if used or stored in a heavy handed way, would likely be the thing to break. We have not experienced this, so I can't say exactly how easy they are to break, but playing gently with this, and storing it carefully, would be good practice. Both of our 2 children (just turned 2 and 5) love this tunnel, and our youngest loves pushing trains in and out through it and spinning the sails.

Great value for money
Great product for the money. My grandson loved it. It was as well made as a leading market brand for a lot less cost.

Absolutely lovely windmill
I purchased this windmill to go with a BigJigs train set. It is absolutely beautiful. Nicely made and soooo pretty. These add on items are a tad expensive but are so lovely, how can you not???? Very visual and they enhance the train set beautifully. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Great quality little windmill
My son is 2 1/2 and loves to spin things. So we bought this for his wooden train set, comprised of Bigjigs and brio pieces. It fits all of the track pieced perfectly. A little expensive but you can tell the build quality is excellent.
