Here’s a pretty detailed review because I feel this is necessary. I looked for a couch/futon for MONTHS that was inexpensive and modern-looking. I had my doubts about almost every listing I saw on every platform I searched on. The reviews were always 50/50 and I stressed about sealing the deal on every couch. I finally pulled the trigger on this one and I do not regret it AT ALL.It’s an inexpensive couch, I did not expect it to be the most comfortable thing ever. But I can’t even complain about the comfort - it is comfy to sit on and I’ve taken many naps on it so far.I was not necessarily looking for a futon, but found that most inexpensive couches were mostly futons or sleepers. I have a twin size mattress topper that fits on it perfectly should someone need to sleep on it (it is not comfortable enough for a guest to sleep on - pretty stiff on your back).It functions as a recliner as well, with multiple settings the lean back and can do different angles on the left and right side.Assembly - took less than 5 minutes. You just screw legs in (there are 6 total).Package - was certainly heavy (as expected). I opened it on my front porch and removed the couch itself instead of attempting to lift the box.PSA - the legs and screws are located inside the couch in a pocket on the backside. It clearly states this but took me a moment to discover.Moral of the story, don’t overthink this purchase. I think it was well worth it.

Great couch, but has one piece of metal in middle when used as a bed, but comphy couch otherwise.

Hard "nope" for this cheap couch. First off there is not nearly enough cushion to make this comfortable for two average-size adults. I suppose if you're looking for a cheap kids/teen couch or maybe in a spare room for occasional use it might work, but anyone 150-180lbs or more should avoid using on the regular. It was pretty easy to put together, and everything (adjustable futon function) worked fine the first month, but after a month or so it started to get a bit wobbly. Then less than 3 months in and the mechanism to keep the back upright has just given out completely on one side and separated from the fiberboard frame. Unfortunately, we're out of the return/replace window, and the material is so cheap we couldn't even attempt to repair it. Although to be honest if they offered a full replacement I'd pass anyway. Will avoid this brand going forward.

For a $200 futon, this can’t be beat. The instructions were easy. I assembled it in 25 minutes. It’s not the most comfortable to sit on, but I bought it for extra seating in our bar room, not for binge watching Netflix. Great value for the price!

For this price I didn't expect the world's best futon, but I was still disappointed. I attached pictures of a few of the spots that were messed up. Assembly wasn't too difficult but it would have been easier if it had instructions. The instructions in my box were for a different set of futon models. I couldn't fully screw in one screw because where the leg attached to the futon was uneven if every screw was tight. No one has slept on it yet, but it is ok to sit on. It fits well in my small room. I contacted customer service and they responded quickly, offering me a partial refund or free return shipping, but I had to take the re-boxed futon to a shipping place myself. They wouldn't have it picked up. Over all, customer service was helpful, and the futon would have been nice if it wasn't so messed up.

This is a great product for a relax and chill room. My family cant stay out of that room now. The only challenge I have is putting the unit in the recline position. It does not always click and stay at this position. Otherwise, highly recommended for small rooms!!

This isn’t even close to gray! It looks more like seafoam green. Unfortunately it would be a huge PITA to exchange or return it :-/Update: after two weeks of using this, the padding has sunk to the frame so now it basically either sitting in a hole or sitting in wood. Keep Looking, this is probably one of my worst purchases ever. FTR, I’m 5’7” 125 lbs.
