This book is well organized and almost makes me feel like I've been there. Unfortunately, I canceled the trip due to the forest fire smoke during this Summer of 2023. Before doing so, I had booked a hotel near the Jazz Festival area and had been reading all about what I was going to do there. Hopefully another time!

Very helpful on a vacation trip We used this travel guide on our recent trip to Montreal. Based on this we selected a hotel and the old Montreal area. The area was a really nice place to be in the city, and the restaurant guide was very helpful. Two places we Dined were the Mahdavi and the keg. Both were really nice restaurants but the keg was stellar!

It has a great map that we used. Better than trying to walk with our iphone directions. The book gave us some info but not as much as other travel books. For us the map alone was worth it.

The guide is compact and fits easily into your pocket. The book is filled with full color maps including a full-sized pull out one.

This guide had terrible information in a really disorganized layout. Some of their "afternoon walks" were way off base and took you through unpleasant areas. See the scenic stroll above along freeway interchanges... lovely :-(
