Works great on my motorcycle. Just make sure you have a heavy duty quick charge cord.
I installed this on my motorcycle and it would not charge my phone. In 2 hours my phone would go from 90% to 40%. Then i brought another heavy duty quick charging chord and voila. It charged my phone and only took 30 minutes longer than my house wall charger took. So if you buy this also buy aquick churning heavy duty chord. Especially if you are using this on a motorcycle like i did.

Solid and fast USB charger! Very bright Illumination
Works great and charges really fast! Install was easy in place of an old cig lighter in a older 4runner. Only thing I wish they had was a separate pin for the illumination/voltage reading. Mainly so you can dim the light as it very much stands out at night. Where I placed mine isn't so much of a problem but anywhere else more visible might be too bright at night and distracting. Otherwise it's a well made product and I would buy again!

Best upgrade possible in any vehicle!
I installed this usb socket in my 1992 Nissan 240SX to get rid of the old cigarette lighter socket and i got to say that it is the best upgrade i have done! Not only is it functional but it is a practical need for my car since i wanted to know the amount of volts i am getting from my cars battery. With a built in LED display voltage meter i highly recommend those with older cars to have this. On the bright side it is a fast charging usb port for my iPhone. Get ready to sand down the hole where the usb port goes if its to small on your car like i did but it was not a big deal.

I installed this in place of 1 0f the 2 12volt ports in the dash. just had to ream out the opening in the dash by about an 1/8" and it's good to go

I like the hardwired usb.
This is a great way to add hardwired charging ports to a vehicle. I used a hole saw to make a mounting spot in a single din blank under my stereo and wired directly into the lighter port. This thing works great. My only complaint is that the led readout is not dimmable.
