An all time fave!
I love this book so much! This is the story of a women who travels across the world to be a nanny- knowing not the first thing about being one, mind you- and the hot, domineering widower who hires her. Their relationship will make you laugh out loud. Their chemistry will have you fanning yourself off. Their relationships with his children will make you cry. I can’t say it enough- I love this story! Brielle is one of my favorite heroines of all time. She’s just so well rounded- brave, vulnerable, funny, honest, brash, goofy, and perfect for Julian and his family. I love her so much- I just want to hang out with her.Julian is high-handed, orderly, rude, alpha, suffering, and totally hot. He’s an important man who doesn’t suffer fools gladly and he is a widower who has no idea how to heal his family. He’s also completely kinky in a private way. Brielle is young and authentic and empathic. Together they are total opposites- I imagine him to be the definition of a side-hugger, complete with the awkward shoulder pat, compared to Brielle’s full on human-barnacle-style embracer.Julian does not like Brielle at all at first, but he’s totally enamored by her at the same time. His character changes in the most endearing ways through this story. Brielle is so completely open in opposing him and pointing out his errors. It’s her brazen dialogue with him that had me laughing out loud plenty. As a former nanny I couldn’t even imagine having the kind of candid brashness she has with the person employing her. She says all the things you think but don’t say and it’s brilliant. The way they move towards love is beautiful- the path unexpected, hot, charming, naughty, sometimes painful, and ultimately very realistic. No matter what tropes you like, this story is so well written and the characters are so fantastic, you just can’t help but love it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this!
This was a lovely read! It had spice, tension, emotional depth, romance and fun! There were so many tropes included in this book that I love. To name a few: age gap, nanny/single dad and forced proximity.I loved Brielle. She was a force to be reckoned with. I loved how she put the kids first- in every way. The love that woman had for them was so beautiful! It made me love her even more. She’s absolutely one of my favorite heroines. Julian tested my patience. He was being an idiot so many times, but in the end he grew and saw things from different perspectives. Also, Sam has my entire heart. What a precious kid. Willow grew so much and I loved the relationship she developed with Bri.Absolutely recommend this book!

spicy, funny and get story line!
Another 5 star book from this amazing author! I am not one to hand out a 5 star rating lightly, so it says a lot when I do! This book was great! If I had the time I would have knocked it out in a day. Typically I have a hard time reading series but T L Swan knows how to keep things interesting to the point where I have a hard time putting it down! On to the 2nd book!

age-gap HEA
I wasn’t sure at first if I was going to give it 4 or 5 stars because some parts were dragging, which is why it has taken me so long to finish this. But it redeemed itself by progressing well. It brought back some wonderful memories for me.I want a Julian Masters of my own!

A good romance
A unique romance novel that had me up all night reading it. As with a lot of romance novels, the intimate details of the relationship is very explicit. Yet the romance and other parts of the book are very refreshing and some heart warming parts of the story, it isn’t just pure romance, there is more to the story, the relationship she builds with the children is wonderful and there are some really good laugh out loud moments. There is only one thing that I don’t like about this book and that is the repetitiveness of the intimate and explicit details of the couple’s love life in the bedroom. The same details are given over and over and although each scene has some differences, they have just as many repeated things. I wish more authors could focus on more conversation and other things in a relationship and a romance more than just the intimate bedroom details. I don’t need to read about the details of every encounter they have. After three of four it gets old for me. But that is just my own opinion. Back to the positives of the book: The characters are likable and memorable. The friendships and other characters involvement in the story is well written and interesting back story as well. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Hilarious, sexy and heart wrenching
I can't say enough about this book. It is my number #1 recommendation to friends or book group requests for a funny, super hot, and heartwrenching story.Brielle leaves Australia for the UK to work as a nanny for a year. Mr. Julian Masters is a widower with a teenage daughter and a young son. Albeit having no nanny experience, Brielle begins working for the Masters' family. All manner of calamity and hilarity ensues as Brielle attempts to learn the ropes of her new position. The attraction between Brielle and Julian quickly develops into a sexy affair.Brielle was the most bubbly, loveable, kind, down-to-earth, and funny character. I want nothing more than to be her friend and hang with her. Julian is the complete opposite; he is serious, broody, and a bit of a snob. This is a classic opposites-attract scenario. The steam between them is off the charts (Swan knows how to write heart-palpitating smexy scenes!). The relationship that develops between the children and Brielle is genuine and adds a great side-story to the overall plot. The ups and downs of Julian and Brielle's story will have you in stitches laughing one chapter and crying the next.It is one of those books that has stuck with me, and one I wish I could re-read for the first time. TL Swan is a fabulous writer who transports you through the ups and downs of lust, and love.

I was not expecting it
It was amazing. Had a craving for single father romance and just wanted something easy and probably forgettable to get this out of my system. Now I’m gushing about this book and the main character to all my friends in our little book club. I might just make the one friend that doesn’t read in English get a copy, because there aren’t any in Portuguese and she just has to read it. It’s a refreshing romance I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did and for that I thank the author. Very well done!

Great story!
Thoroughly enjoyed this book - liked the fact that Mr. Masters is a little older with some baggage. Loved the sub-plot with the kids and how the new nanny worked well with them as well as their father. One of those stories that you don’t want to put down as you want to know what happens next. Great read!
