Great jacket, 100% waterproof and dries easily.Wipes clean with a towel. Great for dog walking.Good length as well.Not particularly warm, but great when layering.

I've had this coat a couple of years and use it on a mixed arable pastoral farm located on moors, so it's fair to say it's been put through it's paces weather wise (snow, rain, hail) and it always keeps me dry.It doesn't need reproofing with tech sprays like some jackets do, it just does the job and keeps on going.Spacious for layering jumpers and fleeces under. Not tight across the arms or back so you can work in it easily without being restricted. This is not a lined coat, it's very much made for layering which gives it great versatility.It's not the smallest packing waterproof if you're taking it on work away, but I roll it up and stuff it into it's hood and it will pack to around the size of a large loaf of bread.Handy deep pockets, not zipped but deep enough for stuff to not fall out.The negatives: A couple of the poppers have come off, but I don't use them anyway as the zip is solid and the double flap stops water Ingress.The hood peak isn't wired, so it's a bit useless and I cut it off. I would 100% keep it on if it had a wired brim and I wish they would update the design to include this as wired brims are a fantastic feature on outdoor coats.Also If you're using a hosepipe with a leaky connection make sure you have the pocket flaps covering the opening to the pocket or else you will end up with a pond in your pocket.I wish they came in other colours, I'd get another in camel or tobacco brown (think carhartt or xtratuf brown) one for outside of work if they did one, but the green does have a distinctly farmery look to it and I don't always want to look like I'm off to wrangle sheep.Please make one in brown!

Excellent coat, does exactly what it says it should. I have only worn it once but the weather conditions could not have been worse. Very wind proof, waterproof, comfortable and warm. The only down sides are the hood is not as rigid as I hoped but tied tight it was perfect also I wore a peaked cap which set the hood shape nicely. And the pocket flaps could do with a fastening on each but pockets did not get wet to my surprise. I wore it beating and had no problems going through bushes and brambles with it. Brilliant coat for what you pay and would buy again.

Waterproof, comfortable, cosy cuffs to stop draughts, good hood. Great value for money - could only be improved with an adjustable waist to keep out draughts, but easily sorted with an elastic belt.

I've had this a couple of hours, and used it once, under conditions that don't exactly push its limits. I wouldn't normally write a review under these circumstances, but I'm sufficiently impressed with it that I'm going to. It's made of material that's similar to flexothane, which is reasonably waterproof and breathable- it can get a bit damp on the inside if you've been working vigorously, but it's not excessive and a helluva lot cheaper than goretex (if the material performs differently to expected, I'll post an edit- if you don't see one, it's as expected). The seams are welded, and there's a decent double storm flap on the zip, which is nice, chunky and robust. The fit is as expected, there's a nice elasticated cuff, and the hood is a good size, with a peak, and can accommodate a hat underneath it. It's a decent length too, going down to mid thigh. Bigger pockets would have been nice, but dropping a star on a jacket this price seems churlish. A very well made jacket, well designed, and excellent value (I paid about £22- I've paid 10x as much for goretex jackets that aren't 5x as good).

Hard reading reviews on Amazon and trying to vet the negative ones as sometimes reviews on for wrong products. The jacket however, pleasantly surprised. Not worn it yet, but it’s not a thin material, and seems quite robust. I’m female size 14 and ordered a medium. I wanted something not to tight so I can move around in it when I metal detect. Great fit, not to tight or to baggy, the length is just past my bum so bonus. The sleeves have an elasticated cuff inside for a nice secure fit. Nice material you can see it will last, almost rubbery, and lightweight. Feels really comfy. Very happy with this, the hood is the same material and has a little peak cap. Me personally I wish the hood was bigger to drape over my forehead, but overall yes I would deffo give this 5 stars also for the price. Haven’t worn it yet so can’t confirm the waterproofness but feeling the material which feels quality I would say yes it is.

A few months ago I bought the 220, wasn't impressed. It might have been good for keeping you dry but apart from that I found it to be far too long (I'm only 5' 7''), the pockets were far too wide and unwieldy and the hood was ridiculously big, but the worst thing of all was that it wasn't breathable so the inside used to get soaking wet because of perspiration. Took delivery of the 221 this morning, took the dog out this afternoon in the wind and wet and what a difference. The length was perfect, the coat was nice and light, I came home really dry, the pockets are much better size and it was breathable with no dampness inside. After only one day I can honestly say that I love this coat, it is exactly what I was looking for. I would have no hesitation at recommending it if you want a coat that looks good and keeps you nice and dry.

Ich habe einen Stern abgezogen, das es etwas mühsam ist, in die vorderen Taschen zu greifen. Zum Schutz , das kein Wasser eintritt ist ok, doch dadurch kann man schlecht rein greifen. Die Kanten am Innenärmel, der Übergang zum Bündchen innen ist hart und teilweise kratzt das irgendein Plastik.. Werde versuchen das zu ändern. Sonst schön geschmeidige Jacke.
