Excellent Product
I purchased the Moroso 89562 gauge in order to insure maximum life and best performance for the very expensive high-performance tires on my new car. I have had too many tires in the past end up with uneven wear from improper inflation through my use of standard-grade economy gauges. I was determined that would not happen again. The cost of this gauge seemed high at first, but it is only a small fraction of the cost of a new set of high-performance tires. I have three cars and this gauge showed that every one of them had incorrect pressures. This is the only gauge I have owned where I feel confident that the tire pressure is correct (I have worked with scientific instrumentation throughout my 30+ year career as a physicist).I chose to go with the mechanical movement in this gauge (as opposed to the electronic sensor technology used in some other gauges). My faith in a well-built mechanical gauge was higher because I felt that it was easier (simpler and less costly) to build an accurate mechanical gauge than an electronic gauge with the same accuracy. NOTE: Do not confuse ACCURACY with PRECISION. Most manufacturers get this wrong. Accuracy is the ability of the gauge to read pressure correctly on an absolute scale. Precision is the ability to see differences between two pressure readings. Most manufactures claim high degrees of accuracy for their gauges when they really mean precision. High accuracy is the specification that you need in inflating to the correct pressure. The readings from this gauge are repeatable (the same from one reading to the next) and easy to view on its large scale. The seal between the tire chuck and the valve stem is excellent resulting in virtually no air leakage. You do have to hold the gauge upright (as mentioned in the instructions) in order to get an accurate reading. This is a high-quality instrument that comes in a fitted protective storage case. It should easily pay for itself in longer tire life (replace them less often) and better tire performance (better traction and fuel economy). I highly recommend this gauge to anyone - but especially to those who have high-performance and/or expensive tires.UPDATE (November 20, 2014) -I don't usually put much faith in the tire pressure accuracy of tire repair shops or auto service departments - too much depends on both the equipment and the attentiveness of the person performing the task. I always check tire pressures when I return home if I know they have done anything with my tires. Just yesterday I returned home from scheduled service at the BMW dealership and since they had told me they adjusted tire pressure to the "correct amount" I checked the tire pressures with my Moroso gauge. I was delighted to find that the Moroso gauge confirmed the pressure of all four tires to be within half a PSI of the recommended levels (35 PSI front, 39 PSI rear). While this incident was not a laboratory calibration, the agreement in readings between the work of a respected service department and my Moroso gauge was hugely satisfying. It left me convinced that a) the BMW dealership had used an accurate gauge with the service technician exercising care in its use, and b) the Moroso gauge had retained its high degree of accuracy after 6 years of use.

High Quality
This is clearly a solid tire pressure gauge. It's definitely the largest, and bigger is better, right? Well, when it comes to pressure-related instruments, I do believe larger pressure sensors make the instrument more sensitive.I bought this about 8 months ago at the same time that I bought a new-to-me Porsche 996TT. Low-profile tires on aftermarket wheels are notoriously difficult to maintain a constant tire pressure, so some periodic measurements are necessary to ensure tire life and safety. What turned me on about this product is that it is supposed to be accurate within 0.5%. In other words, if the true PSI is 50, then this gauge would read between 49.75 and 50.25. To me, a quarter point is an acceptable level of error. Other gauges, even the Moroso 89560, have an error of 2%, which would put the reading somewhere between 49 and 51.Other high points of this gauge are the great air-tight seal it makes with the stem, the super convenient bleeder valve, and the high quality rubber. Nothing is cheap on this product. A AAA tow guy once stopped me at a gas station to ask about this gauge; he was enthralled. There are some downsides to this gauge, though. The biggest is that it's so large and so sensitive, you probably don't want to be driving around with it in your car despite its foam-padded case. This is a precision instrument. I decided to buy a 89560 to keep in the car in case of emergency use ($40).Overall recommendation: Buy if you have to have the best, but keep a beater in the car for emergencies.

Probably the best you can buy.... Made in USA
This gauge is made in the USA, dead accurate, and probably the best you can buy. Big 4" dial is super easy to read accurately and the tire chuck is superb. It does not retain air in the gauge once you pull it off the tire valve, if you are use to that. But you can hold it on the tire valve and release air just by depressing the relief button valve just below the gauge. The tire chuck end is very easy to grip and get a good connection on the tire valve stem. If you are a professional mechanic or just like to have the best tools in your toolbox this is it for tire pressure gauges in the 0-60 psi range, which is all cars and most trucks and SUVs. Highly recommended. Do NOT buy the digital version of this tire gauge, it sucks.

Excellent product!
The majority of people I believe wouldn't justify spending so much on a tire pressure gauge. But, if you have expensive staggered wheels/tires and are unable to rotate as I do, it is imperative that you have the correct tire pressure. Also, for the long run "several years", I believe the product would pay for itself in fuel savings and premature tire wear due to incorrect tire pressure. This unit is accurate AND repeatable. Yes kids, there is a difference between the two. I have remeasured tire pressure after using the normal five dollar cheapy from the local auto parts store only to find that as much as 2lbs of pressure difference existed between the cheapy and the Moroso. If you wish to increase/maintain gas mileage I highly recommend this item as it is accurate to a half pound of pressure.

Awesome air gauge
Massive dial is easy to read. Just remember to hold it upright, per the instructions. The adapter swivels so it's easy to align it with the valve stem, and it forms an excellent seal on the stem. Readings are instant and consistent. The bleed button bleeds air slowly so you can be extremely precise when you need to lower the pressure. The case is suitably tough and holds it snug. All around a terrific tool.

Expensive, but well worth it.
This thing is a scientific instrument. What a very nice quality piece of equipment. I track a 2010 Corvette ZR1 and suffice to say the tires are not exactly cheap. So, even if I increase my tire longevity by a little bit due to this very accurate tire pressure gauge, it will be worth every penny. Great and fast shipping too!
