I use mine to keep track of temps in my lizard's terrarium. I have mine set up so the probe measures the temps of the basking spot and the other sensor is for the ambient temp of the tank. The hygrometer is also very useful to make sure that the humidity stays in the correct range for my bearded dragon. I am not sure how accurate the hygrometer is, but this thermometer measures temperatures accurately enough for me. I have never seen it off by more than a degree. I also like that the batteries last for months. I am very pleased with this thermometer and would purchase it again.

I have had this unit for a couple of weeks.Its nice to be able to see the outside and inside temperature at the same time without having to move a switch.
