When it comes to this kind of stuff I dont consider myself a noob. I am pretty good with connecting led strips by soldering them together. It takes a bit and I hoped this would speed the process up. I was connecting two set of LED strips together that had the waterproofing coating. I did my normal cut it down peel as much off as i could and connected the splicer and the only thing that worked after several several adjustments and more cutting and peeling I could only get the LED strips to light up as blue. After 2 hours of playing with it I went and just soldered them together in my normal method and it worked just fine. So I dont know if the pins in the connector are long enough or what. I see how they would be really easy with the non-waterproof type but I am setting mine up for outdoor use. I dont know..I had high hopes

Garbage. It is a miracle to get these to work. Not at all waterproof. Makes a terrible connection. Had to fiddle for hours to find the perfect bend/twist/fold/prayer Combo to get them working.

These worked perfectly to connect the LED lights - DAYBETTER Led Strip.

First, it is extremely hard to open, my thumb nail was ripped to open them. Second, it is extremely difficult to use. I cut my LED strip into multiple little pieces to try the connection, and finally, I can only get two colors to work. They ruined my LED strips. Would not buy again. Do not recommend. Do not waste your money.

Used for connecting LED Strips. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but these seemed very difficult to use. Didn't tend to bite into the connection on the strip and would easily become undone. I cannot attest to whether these are waterproof, as I wound up not using them.

I bought these to connect multi color led strips for my children’s rooms. They are a little fiddly to open but work well once installed. Also need to make sure they line up properly or the color are different on each strip.

Don’t even bother with the 4 prong connectors! They are so difficult and bend the fragile copper connectors! These are the easiest and most hassle free you can buy!

I tried many times to connect my daybetter led strips using this product, but only found that they tore up my strips and failed to properly connect them. Many times we were able to connect the strips together but only have certain colors be shown on both strips. We failed to get red, blue, and green colors to show. Overall, this product wasted my money and time.
