2-1/2" Dust Source Rigid Flex Set

I really liked the ease of assembly. The hose seems durable and of good quality. It keeps its shape where you set it. This is a great accessory to have in your woodshops dust collection system!

I added a brace for more support in all fairness it was placed in a tight place where the hose wasn't extended making it compacted thus making it heavier but does hold the shape - I did not want to shorten (cut) the plastic hose (you can easily)

"Rigid" means that something will be "unable to bend or be forced out of shape" once moved into shape. Well, this is not rigid. It will not even hold its own weight let alone stay in place once the dust control is turning and vibrating.Second, although it is listed as a 2-1/2" OD, it barely wedges into the suction port on my dust control. Don't think it would stay long once the vacuum is turned on.This is the second manufacturers' product that I have tried with the same result. Looks that the only viable solution to find or build something that will hold the end of a standard vacuum hose where I need it.

I used this one before on my wood working saw, so I decided to get one for my drill press, they do a great job. The wide mouth, I cut a small gap on the bottom to fit around the drill press pole, you can adjust it anyway you want, works just fine. The long nozzle I USED TO ATTACH TO MY DRILL TO GET SAWDUST FROM DROPPING ON THE FLOOR. IT WORKS GREAT. Jim in Ohio

I purchased an Oneida Dust Deputy dust collector, and needed to connect it to my Ridgid shop vac. This kit works perfectly for this purpose, as it includes the necessary hose adapters to correctly fit both devices, and is the perfect length if the two devices are sitting next to each other. The flexible hose is somewhat stiff so it keeps it shape, just like the flexible joint in a drinking straw.

I love this, I set it up with my dust collection system and my drill press is finally always clean. Using a hose that can be set into any shapes/angles you need for it to always sit in position was ingenious!

I use this setup for my drillpress and it sucks up all the saw dust and metal shavings I can throw at it
