5 stars for the product, 0 stars for Amazon packaging.This is an amazing figure. For those who don’t know, this was originally released as a build a figure wave last year. The paint deco was different on that figure, it was the Mac Gargon Venom. Now it’s been released in one package as the traditional Venom design. I personally didn’t like the Venom they gave us in the previous wave. He was too small and stood perfectly straight. This Venom is massive and formidable. This is the figure I wanted. He has small tentacles coming off his body which look cool, but I do wish they were removable.The only real negative is the packaging. I had long heard that Amazon doesn’t pack these sufficiently and it turns out that was right. It was shipped in a bubble mailer. The box was beat up badly and there was a huge hole in the box. The figure inside seems ok, but it’s just embarrassing that Amazon continually packages their products this way.

I'm glad I didn't shell out for the full Monster Venom wave to get that BAF because this new Venom takes everything that was good about that BAF and gives him a more classic, iconic paint job. He's big and beefy, bigger than The Thing but smaller than the recent Hulk. It's a good in-between size for a Marvel Legends. He's almost perfect -- if only he came with some more accessories. He includes only a few symbiote tentacles that you can plug into his back. That's it. Pretty lacking for the new $30 "deluxe" price tag. Maybe some extra hands? An Eddie Brock head? Something. Other than that I don't have many other complaints. He's sturdy enough for kids to play with, and is detailed enough for older collectors to appreciate. I think this is the best recent Venom action figure you can get, beating out the Revoltech and Mafex offerings.

AMAZING VENOM COOL WE ARE VENOM

This Venom figure is a repaint of the Venom monster Venom baf wave. Because of the formerly released Eddie Brock Venom and less intrested in Spider Ham is the reason I don't have a completed baf Venom. This is a great repaint for the more nostalgic Spider-man fans, not the definitive Venom, but for collectors like myself that need a Venom figure for their Spider-man displays. Articulation is the standard articulation for the larger scale Marvel legends and if you're able to sort through a multiple figures on the pegs, look for one with the cleanest paint apps. I did get one here from Amazon with really good clean paint apps on the spider logo. This is my first Venom figure and I highly recommend this one for collectors, especially when the new Venom 2 movie being released later this year. Don't pass on this one fellow collectors, happy collecting

I know there are those other ones you can find from China that might look appealing, and are half the price. I bought one of those too, and having had both in my hands, I'll say with certainty that this one is definitely worth the higher premium. Its WAY more durable. The downside is it doesn't have as many moveable parts, but it has enough to still be fun to use, and certainly is big for a 6" figure. It actually looks like a properly sized venom that could beat down Spider-Man or Carnage. Do yourself a favor before cutting corners, and save up for this one.

Good product, great form,strong material.

This figure ended up being fantastic, if you were unable to get the Monster Venom BAF then obviously this is your shot. Unlike the Monster Venom based on Mac Gargan, this is an Eddie Brock stylized Venom. Portrayals and depictions of Eddies Venom have made him appear hulking like this in the past and so it’s nice to have a genuinely beefy and well designed Eddie Brock Venom. The articulation is exactly what you’d expect and I’d highly recommend it for any collector.

I bought this for my sons birthday, and he absolutely loves it. The articulation is amazing. You can put him in so many poses. And he actually feels like a Venom or how Venom is supposed to be. A huge buff guy. This product is definitely worth the price you pay, and definitely deserves 5 stars.
