It was Okay
Let me start off with the fact that this is one of my favorite authors. I have read many of her books, and will probably do so until I've read all of her books. This novel is well written, the plot is well developed, and the characters are also well expressed. The writing style is easy to read, and this author always includes humor, which I appreciate. In my personal opinion, this first book was slightly better than this one, and the second book was utterly amazing.Unfortunately, this is probably my least favorite book in this trilogy. I did not like how the main heroine kept considering land bought and paid for by a ranch man "hers" just because she had the only access to it. She's considered honest, but she didn't act like in this instance. The mother-in-law problem I truly think is what ruined for me. Not that she was a part of the story, but that the hero never did anything about it. He needed to listen to his new wife, stick up for her, and man up where his mother was concerned. None of this happened by the end of the novel to my disappointment, and it was as if the heroine just sat back and was willing to take, though at the beginning she was not the type of character who would. Other than that, it's not bad. This review has no reflection on the writing or style or even the plot.... just a few things I think should have been handled differently. Someone else might not have a problem with these, but they bothered me.

Hot-Tempered + Cold-Hearted = Fantastic Story!!
I have to admit I wasn't too excited about the third of the Wild at Heart series. During the first two, Bailey annoyed me, so I couldn't imagine being interested in her story. Boy, was I wrong. Once again, Mary pulls the reader into her characters' world and leaves you feeling like you know those people you just read about. In Fire and Ice, Bailey is so hot-tempered, yet heartbroken deep inside. Gage is cold and seems heartless at times, but as you discover more about him, his attitude makes perfect sense. Then, Mary sticks those two together, and here we go.I love how she ties all three books up at the end of this one, but as usual, I hated to put it down and close the door on the Wilde sisters.

I love Mary Connealy books and this one did not disappoint
I love Mary Connealy books and this one did not disappoint! Great story! I listened to the whisper sync audio version. Awesome story for listening! I loved Gage and Bailey and the fire and ice comparison. I enjoy the author's humor. So funny when listening to it being read by a professional! If you want romance, humor, drama and cowboys, this book is for you!

Fire and Ice book 3
Sorry to see the story end but as with book 1 & 2 it was a page turner and heart warming story of Baily the oldest of the 3 sisters and most independent. Love always wins, and provides a happy ending.

EVERYONE SHOULD READ
Again Mary you have created a winning series. So much fun and thrills. I loved each sister. Like the Kincaid brides and Trouble in Texas I couldn't put it down.

A pleasurable and satisfying conclusion to the trilogy
Every book in this series has been a delight, but I was eagerly waiting to see what the author intended for Gage and Bailey. It was well worth waiting for. The plot was suspenseful and exciting with a generous amount of romance. Connealy's sense of humor left me frequently with a grin on my face trying not to laugh out loud while surrounded by strangers in a waiting area.

I thought this was a very interesting read and loved how you were thrown right into the action from the beginning. However, I have to tell you his mom was too much, but I suppose there are moms out there like that. A good mystery and cute story. I did not read the rest of the series, but may go back and do so.
