I had a bit of trouble at first since my order didn’t show up, but I have to give credit to customer service. They did worked well with me to get a replacement pretty quickly. I had it in hand within a day or two, which was super impressive.When I first started using the vacuum chamber, it worked pretty well. The pump pulled a good vacuum, and everything seemed solid. But after a while, the seal started failing, and air slowly leaked back in, which was frustrating. The pump itself is fine, but the chamber definitely needs a better seal if you want something long-term.I’m using it for making resin dice, and while it helped reduce bubbles, it didn’t get rid of them completely. I’ve since learned that I actually need a pressure pot for that, so that’s on me. Overall, it’s a decent setup, especially for the price, and the customer service experience was great. Just be aware that you might need to tweak or replace the seal if you plan on using it a lot.

0 stars for this item. Product broke within 12 uses and has a design flaw. Pressure gauge goes through the lid and creates a massive weak point in the lid. Under pressure it creates spider cracking at the gauge stem and then blew up under pressure and is now completely unusable. Since I purchased the product 4 months ago, they have a new style and design that does not have the gauge going through the lid. It is now drilled through the metal basin probably eliminating this design flaw now. Tried to call company to get a replacement and phone number is not in use. Sent email to their support team and have not heard back.

Good quality for non professional use. I took the pump apart to check the build quality, and it looks very good, no burrs or metal shavings left inside. The hose is very good quality compared to other brands. The vacuum chamber seems to be as well built as any other, and I haven't had problems with leaks.I should mention, the oil it comes with is not very good. It creates an oil fog, which is bad to breathe and can contaminate your projects. I solved the issue by replacing it with TSI Supercool 46 viscosity vacuum pump oil. Seems to be the same viscosity, and solved the oil fog.

Like everyone else in the market for a vacuum chamber that will work well without breaking the bank I rely on reviews and this one had me really unsure because it seemed like a lot of reviews mentioned the glass top arriving damaged or getting cracked easily with use. I can say that I haven't had that experience.Been using this every day for a couple of months and have not had any issues. This worked right out of the box and was very easy to set up and maintain. I use this for degassing platinum silicone and it works like a charm.Highly recommend if you're looking for a budget-friendly degasser that will actually get the job done.
