Essential Spare Part for Folding Microphone Stands
I bought these knobs as replacements for the original knobs on K&M microphone stands, which tend to go truant at awkward times. The knobs are threaded M6x1.0, which the correct size. A nice feature is the lobed design of the plastic knob, much easier to tighten than the round OEM knobs. They're a little long, but fit in all positions of the stand, including the base and boom arm.

Works great for woodworking projects
This is quite hard to find at the local big box store for the size, length, and thread diameter. Glad I found it online for this price since a single shorter and smaller diameter at the big box stores already costs half the price. Perfect for a rookie woodworker like myself, and probably for the professional craftsmen as well. It mainly focuses around my smaller fence and jig pieces, but I will also use it for my expansion table attached to my table saw later.Length is slightly longer than the 1.5-in wood pieces. That's perfectly fine. Using a few thick washer to compensate and it's perfectly fine. I wish the knob size is a tad larger by 1-inch, since the smaller diameter of the star-knob is a tad small for larger hands. Smaller diameter tends to dig into your hand when you tighten it, or loosen it from a tightened position. However, those larger star-knob diameter has larger diameter thread. Oh well. Good enough for now.Overall, I'm satisfied with the 5 knobs. Great to have them as interchangeable parts for various projects.
