I used this with paperclay and found that the details of the side skulls got easily lost. It took me at least 3-4 times trying to get a good copy of the skulls.I will be trying it with resin and will update my review with those notes as a later time.

I almost didn't buy this, since I was really looking for a single-skull mold for making sugar skulls for Dia de los Muertos. I'm SO glad I bought it! It's amazing!! Super detailed, easy to fill and unmold, really impressive-looking finished products. I couldn't wait to try this mold out, so I just melted some Baker's white chocolate I had, and then tried it again with melted chocolate chips. Both look like something you'd buy in a fancy candy shop. (I'm EXTRA glad I have this, also, since the other mold I ordered was terrible!)

Loved this and had a lot of great comments about it. Powdered the mold with powdered sugar and it released easily. I put it over one of the curved leaf /flower driers for the curve. I think it would be easy to paint with color or accent it.
