Great fighting game at a great price
The final release of Street Fighter 4. For those who have not purchased previous versions, let it be known this is a great buy. You get all DLC and all characters from previous versions, totaling to 44 fighters. The gameplay has been changed from previous versions with the introduction of game changing mechanics. This includes:Red focus:This new focus absorbs a infinite amount of hits but costs meter, this leads to new ways to counter certain multi hit moves and get a big punish. The second change with this new focus is that if used in any combo it nets you a crumple for extended combos. This leads to many new combo opportunites and gives you more ways to land certain match specific ultras that are hard to land or used to prevent opponent from doing certain things (i.e. Breathless, Abare Tosanami, Rolling Thunder), compared to easier to land ultras (Souless, Corkscrew Blow, Seichusen Godanzuki).W Ultra:This allows you to have access to both ultras (or four if you play Gen) at the cost of doing 75% of normal damage (60% for grapplers). This allows more opportunities to land damage either in combos or have utility. Some character benefit heavily from this, example makoto can combo after U2 so even with reduced damage it's good plus the utility, and ultra 1 does good damage (even more so if you super first).Delayed wake up:Same as CvS2 tactical recovery, this cause your character to get up 11 frames later. This helps escape unblockables and meaty jump ins, safe jump, and many other vortex or set ups. This helps many characters greatly, as previously certain vortexs (Hi Akuma) left you at a guessing game with no options to counter (generally speaking). The core of Street Fighter is in this game with advanced mechanics, but this game is easily accessible, many people have picked this game up and learned to play quickly. For people looking to get into fighting games or SF in general, this is the game for you.USF4 also adds in 4 SFxT characters (Rolento, Poison, Hugo, and Elena) as well as newcomer Decapre, who is a blast to play. The characters add more diversity to the roster and each character feels unique. Hugo is a huge target, has high health, and slow, but any combo does 30-45%, Hugo brings the pain. Poison has decent zoning, good upclose game, along with plenty of links and combos that look pretty and are fun. Rolento hops around away and is extremely mobile for confusing pressure or run away, with some decent combos and nice ultras. Elena I'm not too familiar with yet, but has good reach and combos. Finally you have Decapre, with plenty of combos, pressure, and great ultras. Her normals are very good thanks to Cammy, and her c.mk to lp hands is safe vs most the cast.Overall this is a great purchase and highly recommended to any fighting game vet or newcomer.Graphics - 4Gameplay - 5Sound - 5Content- 5Multiplayer - 5

C-c-c-c-combo breaker~!
Street Fighter, oh I have missed thee. I have not touched a Street Fighter game in a good long time... and by good long time, I mean a decade... at least. The game has changed... a LOT.Players who haven't played this series in a while, will feel very out of place... I have found myself repeatedly asking myself, why am I playing this again? What's an Ultra Combo? What's a technical? Hit box? Punish? ...and most importantly, who are all these new characters?!!?! T_TYes, Street Fighter... the game with some of the longest titles in history. Super Street Fighter II Turbo Remix. :) Super Duper Street Fighter IV Ultra Mega Hip Hop Remix compilation. So yeah, I considered fighting games a relic of the past. I didn't think that people still played fighting games... except for Smash Bros. I saw SFIII Third Strike in a bowling alley once, and moved past it... when news hit that IV was coming out, I was a bit intrigued but passed on it, as well as its Super/Super Arcade/and anything else that may have come out. So what made me get Ultra? Pure curiosity, and the face that it was $20. My PS3 was collecting dust, and it was merely a tool for watching Amazon in my bedroom while the PS4 took its place in the living room.So I got the game and popped it into my aging game console. By then I had also purchased an arcade stick in preparation for this moment. I chose arcade mode, and one thing became apparent right away. I had no idea what I was doing. This wasn't the SFII I grew up with. So came the searches online, how to do this, perform that, Ultra Combos, videos, faqs, more videos... After a few frustrating hours of searching, I came to the conclusion that I would just sit down and train with the 12 original players I grew up using, and then move onto the rest... suffice it to say, that the original 8 are more or less still the same, the 4 original 'bosses' are virtually the same too. Some of the newer characters I have played with on different games (Sakura, Guy, etc... Marvel vs. Capcom/Alpha series). The game is as fun as it used to be when it had a II instead of a IV behind it. The art style has changed a lot, and it's pretty interesting. It looks like a 2D game that's yearning to look 3D... weird. The controls are responsive, the soundtrack is great, and the training modes are very helpful. I have tried a few rounds of online play, some successful, some painfully/embarrassingly unsuccessful. The game has fueled my desire to be good at a Street Fighter game again. Overall, great game, i give it an 8.5/10. I gave it an 8.5 due to the fact that unless you've been playing this series non stop, there's a pretty steep learning curve, and it'll show in online matches.... once you get past the learning curve, it's a more satisfying game.

It’s an awesome game to play!
It’s really cool to play this game, and even though I am totally blind, I can be able to keep up with it.

Awesome perfect. Street fighter LIVESSSSSS
Street fighter is just simply the greatest fighting game collection serious to ever hit a home console. I have played this game since the super Nintendo, and I haven't stopped. I've followed it through out it's progression, and although I liked some better then others, this is the Ultimate Street fighter game that has ever come to market. I do with endless survival battle was in this one, but whatever.I love the fact that they never deviated from the fighting system. And they've kept the moves consistent through out the series. I use to be a big Mortal Kombat fan, but once they changed the fighting system in MK3, I lost interest. It now transformed into a fighting system largely built on combos, and started falling into the Tekken category, but these 2 games had different fighting systems, which is what separated them from one another outside of the character differences. In any event, my love affair with street fighter is strong, and this game will bring you hours of fun with the online play. Single version play is pretty bland and can get boring quick though. They should have put more options in the single player, like tag battles, triple tag battles, survival battles, a story-mode that's unique to each character as you progress through each battle until you face their rival opponent, then ultimately SETH. So it ain't "perfect" by any stretch, but it's damn good.
