Needed several no-frills light sockets for garage and shop. These were exactly what I wanted. Although they come as strictly the sockets you see in the pictures, doesn't mean you can't put them in a fixture of some kind. They are replacement parts or new parts for a new fixture. Very reasonably priced and I didn't have to go anywhere to purchase them. Arrived very quickly. 1 or 2 days as advertised. Seem to be really well made and sturdy. Very happy with them and will order more when I feel like rigging lights around the house and yard.

Easy enough to install in our ceiling fan. My wife is happy she can see in the bedroom again. They have been working for 4 months now and no problems.

Great sockets to repair, and build light fixtures.

I replaced several broken sockets with these ceramic sockets. The hole pattern was exactly the same as the old sockets and the replacement was very easy. The quality appears to be much better than the sockets that failed. One type of fixture that I have is for a terrarium heat lamp of 75 watts (not too big). The old ceramic sockets were of a different design and disintegrated after about a month. I use these lamps for several hours a day and they do get very hot. These sockets are rated for 660 watts. The lamps are working now and only time will tell how well they hold up to the high heat.

I don't recommend doing what I did, but I replaced a flickering intermediate base socket in a ceiling fan with this medium based socket and it worked great. It only required removing a couple of small screws from the old and new sockets and then mounting the new socket onto the existing support bar. I could not get LED bulbs to work for more than a few minutes in the old socket and the incandescent bulbs that fit an intermediate base do not have the necessary lumens. I now have a 60W incandescent lighting our kitchen table from this fan.

I like ceramic sockets since they are more durable than the light gauge metal ones. These also have the threaded section that allows them to be used for replacing lamp socket. I used the to temporarily replace vanity light fixtures while redoing a bathroom. It kept the light bulb out of the way and provided sufficient light o work and use the facilities.

Not even close to 12”. Have to return bc the wires are not long enough for my project, though it was marketed as having 12” wire
