TPA3116D2 2x120W Dual Channel Stereo DC12-26V Digital High Power Amplifier Board

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for a 2 way stereo mini bookshelf design..Got it delivered within 4 days on 9 June shipped from Chennai to Mumbai.. 870/- shippedcame in a small bubble wrap with a Dhruv pro brand label..One of the onboard volume pot was damaged, works partially..Lit up immediately with an old 19.5v 65w Dell laptop adaptor.. paired it with Sony 6ohm speakers from old sony hifi 2x120w system & the output was so powerful & defined.. almost matching the original sony hifi 2x120w system or better even though only 65w supply, maybe because of efficient voltage regulation & a good lossless signal from PC card.. definitely better fidelity than the sony amp.. no distortion at high volumes, more than enough power for bookshelves to rattle your room at just 65w supply..Played it for 3-4 hours nonstop & doesn't even get warm.. attached sound demo video.. very loud & quick tight bass response on the sony speakers..Just amazing at this tiny size.. exceeded my slim expectations..Now some people say it isnt really 120w per channel.. well if you do see the TPA3116 datasheet page 10 graph of Vcc by Output Watts @4 ohms, you can see it easily does 75-85w per channel (BTL) @ 26v with 4ohm loads & 1-10% THD.. so theoretically it can go higher with thermal management & lower impedance loads..Though cheap it used to go around for 600/-Hope it lasts long..Will update with any changes..

The product's output is disappointing. What to speak of 120 watt/channel output, it hardly delivers 20 watt/channel. Moreover, it creates a sound when it is powered on. Using LA 4440 IC kit is much better instead. Performance wise, it is very costly too. I ordered it after having seen its appreciation by some customers here, but now I wonder on what parameters those people appreciated this below the average product. I would strongly suggest not to buy it.

I recommend not to buy if u want a high volume sound..bcoz it get off on high volume...and the specification is also damm fake..the output must be around 20 to 40w per channel...but the sound quality is a bit fine in low volume...if u are looking for moderate sound for side speakers for pc..go for it...it is not a hifi sound amplifier...go for something else..

Honestly writing review after 4 months of use.1. It's not 120+120watt RMS. It's produces 60+60watts on 24volts DC 5 amps.2. Board is compact and sturdy.3. Components used are not upto the mark. For better performance change the capacitors according to voltage you are providing.4. Balanced sound output. Don't expect bass from this board. But to increase gain, bass and treble you have to use preamps. I genuinely used preamp from old LA4440 board and then I got amazing bass and treble including gain. Please check the preamp power before connecting it.5. Overall sound quality is good.6. Good for bookshelf speakers or ceiling speakers.Cons.1. Because of shipping components breaks.2. Fake listing of 120+120watts.

I m using this board from 6 month so i will gives u full technical details about this board..👉first, Wrong information by sallar.. it has only 50w+50w RMS ( becouse board has only 1 ic). i have received demage product.. but thanks for Amazon to refund my money..( and board bhi wapas nhi liya 😊 and i repair it myself 😛 )👉TPA3116 is a good Ic and has a clear sound( bass and treble is balance) but i will not recommende this board.. because it's price too High.. single Ic board easily available @500-600 Rs , So u can buy that...If u want to run 2x50W@4ohm (8-10 inch speaker@50w)But, If u want to run 2x30W speaker @4ohm (6-8 inch speaker@4ohm.) U can buy TPA3118 it will give u 60w@8ohm) @200 Rs only.. ( keep in mind 3118 is a mono board @8ohm so u need to series connection if u have 4ohm speaker) 👉Tpa 3118 vs 3116 me 3118 ki sound thodi c better lagi mujhe( but can't compare with class AB)So my final conclusion is that👉 Don't buy this board at this price( Rs 900)👉U can buy 4 board of TPA 3118 at this price point.. 😊👉 tpa3116 board will gives u 2x50W = 100W@4ohm and 70W@8ohm ( Price Rs 900)👉But TPA3118 give u 60W@8ohm ( Price Rs 200-250Rs)👉So u can buy 4 board at this price ( Rs900) 😛😛And U will get 4X60w = 240w @8ohm (Rs 900) 👍👍👍My focus is 'price to performance'"First think than buy" If u find my comment is halpful for u..
