The media could not be loaded. I rewired and installed this in a 67 VW single cab. Replaced the flasher with a 2 pin 552 flasher. Everything works. Had to drill out the dash since the nut is bigger than the stock 2 pin hazard switch, but you can also screw your old knob into this switch so it still looks old on the outside.

Funciona perfecto

This is a perfect replacement for the hazard switch on my 1974 VW Thing. It was easy to install and fit great. I was glad to also see that the light is included so you know when the hazards are on just by looking at the knob.

Fits and works well in my 74 bus

I bought this switch for a 1970 VW Bus. This switch has only 8 pins while the original VW switch has 9. On a 1970, the same brake light bulb is shared with the indicator and the hazard function. I connected the switch and only my front indicator lights worked. Rear indicator lights did not work. I reinstalled the original VW switch (which was faulty) and everything worked again. After much research on VW forums on the internet, many stated this switch does not work for a 1968-1971 because the brake light bulb shared the functions of brake, turn signal and flasher. I would say it will work for buses that are 1972 and newer because they have their own separate turn signal bulb.
