For bottle lovers (Repeat buyer)
So I’m not sure where to start and this is going to sound so silly but this is my favorite bottle I’ve owned. This bottle is great if you’re like me, a tea lover and a fruit water lover. This is the kind of bottle that not only will make you want to buy it, but you owning the bottle will make you want to use it.I got this bottle originally for Christmas and unfortunately while going to Aesthetics school in Albany someone else liked it enough to steal it. By this time I couldn’t bring myself to ask my gift giver where I could get another one.A few years past and since then I have been searching for something similar but everything I find didn’t compare. You’ll find bottles that are cheaply made, too small or strange to hold, and most have filters with holes that are just too big.And then it happened!!! I broke my other cheaply made bottle and I had enough and dug deep and found this bottle again!! I of course bought it quickly and I am telling you, you are getting more than your money’s worth. It is SOLID. It is sturdy. It holds plenty of water and you don’t have to worry about seeds or tea leaves getting through the holes in the filter. It looks nice and feels nice in your hand as well.. I’m telling you, you will not find a better bottle for your tea and mixed water. I know this because I looked and this is still the best by far! if you’re thinking about buying it, just get it.

The black is an older model, not as good as the newer ones
I've reviewed this before, this is my 4th T2go, it's glass and will break if you drop it on your granite counter! The 3rd one was great, a newer model in Orange. This black one seems to be an older version. The silicone ring inside the cap can fall out, esp if you don't thread the cap on properly. The holes in the strainer part are very small so that after filling with boiling water, I have to sake the jar to get the water down, then top it off (about 1/4 cup or so). And unless the caps are carefully threaded and closed tightly, it can leak. I still like this tea infuser, but disappointed the vender is selling the old model. The newer, brightly-colored ones are not available.

I love it
I like to grip what they have wrapped around the bottle. It is so easy to hold. I like that it is all glass. It is easy to clean. I do caution you to warm the glass before putting in boiling water so that it doesn’t break. I’ve seen reviews that the glass brakes but mine has not, and I have used it many times now. Be careful screwing on the lids. If you’re not careful it will leak. But with a little care, it does not leak. They have another version without that wrap around the bottle. I have both. This is the one I use. I like it much better.

Will burn your hands.
The lids do not seal properly so at the first use when tilting, like the instructions say, you get boiling water/tea all over your hands. It takes way too long to fill and tilt to brew tea that is decent at best. Save your money and buy a travel mug and steel filter. I returned this trash for a refund.

Not good for loose leaf tea.....
Not good for loose leaf tea, unless you like having chunks in your sips. The holes are too big and let many chunks of tea through as you are drinking. If the tea would stay separate, this tea tumbler would be perfect. Great size. Hand area gets warm but still can hold it with out getting burned.

not as good as it used to be
I had one of these that I used for years, and it finally broke. I loved it so much that I bought another one. This one doesn't seem to be as well made. Water gets into the cap. Then when it heats up with the hot tea, it oozes out. It also had a defect in the glass that made it crack after about a week.

Great for fruit infusion of water!
Okay so I did read all the reviews prior to purchasing this item, and I was a little taken aback. I wanted this due to a person I know that uses on for water infusing, etc. and she loves it .Then I saw all the folks that complained that this item spilled or leaked everywhere when placed inside a bag? I apologize but who on earth would ever put a full and unsealed beverage of any kind inside anything for transport?? Anyway, I digress, I purchased this for fruit infusing my water when I go to work ( I used to use a plastic travel tumbler and was sick of the plastic- tasting water) and it works fantastically. The glass is very protected as the silicone covering is over about 60% of the glass surface - so there is a reduced chance of it shattering when it falls. Also, as long as you twist on both sides reasonably tight - you will not experience any leakage. I cannot speak to the loose tea aspect of this item, but for what I use it for- it is perfection.

Fantastic mostly glass infuser.
I bought one of these three years ago for my girlfriend. She takes tea or infused water to work using it. I like that it is mostly glass aside from the caps. It works extremely well infusing fruits or cucumbers into the water. Unfortunately her first one took a dive on the floor without the caps on it and exploded. It is very resilient and takes a beating either way. I bought another one because she loved her first one so much. Highly recommended!
