Installation took about 30 minutes in the driveway with the biggest part of it being removing the spare tire to get to the harness. Does what it's supposed to with no issues.

This was plug and play every thing hooked up perfectly the wire is about 6ft long. Just tuck away the excess and it's good to go

This product works great and very easy to install. I ordered one made for my 2019 Ford F-150 XLT and it came with a round plug. However, my truck has the flat plug. It’s true it will say it fits your truck but I highly recommend checking before ordering.

This wire harness said it would fit my 2016 Ford F150 XL Sport. It fits perfectly. All lights, turn signals, and brake lights work correctly. I cut a round hole on the left side of my back bumper license plate to mount the 7 pin receptacle. I purchased a separate small tube of dielectric grease to place on the connectors to protect them from corrosion. The 2016-2017 F150's are notorious for this problem so I highly recommend you do this. You do not need to drop down your spare tire to install this wire harness, but I did just to give myself the extra room. The package arrived on time. Kit also came with 1 sheet metal screw (for the ground wire) and 5 black plastic tie-downs. Would've given it a 5 star rating because I think the kit should've included a small tube of dielectric grease and 4 extra sheet metal screws to secure the 7 pin receptacle. Good value for the money.

Have a 2019 F150 that only had the 4 pin, was able to plug my 4 pin into this harness then plug this harness into the trucks main harness. You will need your own Di-Electric Grease and possibly 4 screws to mount the connector. I install it next to my license plate and had to use 4 self-taping screws.

Install was easy and the part fit perfectly. Remove the spare tire for easy access to wiring

Ordered the hitch, wiring harness and bracket (to hold the plug in receptacle on the vehicle side) all from Curt at the same time. The hitch and bracket was great, the wiring harness receptacle was not so good. It did not fit the bracket that holds it at all and the plug from the trailer when it is plugged into the wiring harness receptacle is pretty loose fitting. There was never any mention as to the receptacle on the wiring harness only fitting a special bracket. I assumed that everything coming from Curt would all fit together, wrong! Just make sure that you ask before ordering the harness and the bracket. Plugging it into the existing wiring harness on the truck was a breeze!

My F-150 came with a ‘tow’ package which was a 4 pin connector and a bumper hitch. This cable plugged into existing truck wiring and keeps the 4 pin working too. Plug and play, worked as it should

If you hate ease of install and convenience, don’t buy this product. No splicing, no headaches. Just plug into the factory receptacle and tuck up the rest of the slack and you’re good to go.

Finally got around to installing my hitch. It went in excellent. Went to install the wiring harness. It isn’t even close to working then I looked at the brake control and it’s broken !! but I’m 30 days over and now they tell me I can’t get a refund or exchange not happy with Amazon or it’s partners.
