Great watch
This is a really good watch. It looks great, from the face to bracelet. The automatic movement is accurate. The sapphire glass is excellent. Overall this is an excellent watch at a very reasonable price.

Ultimate value, top brand quality.
I cannot believe how well made this timepiece is, solid steel, heavy, fantastic on the wrist, prefer this to my £2000 watch, by far.Heavy but sits so will you won't notice, lum is so bright and also has bezel lum tooAn amazing watch at less than half price, wow.Highly recommend.

A real classic
This watch is one of the most deceptive in my collection. It has more presence than the pics suggest and is very well made for the price with a good solid bracelet and secure clasp. It is very comfortable to wear and is not too heavy on the wrist. It is described as a green face but in fact is more anthracite in appearance with good clear batons and hands. It is very much a classic design and will suit both formal or informal occasions. The movement is first class with a sweep second hand that is smooth indicating a 28000 bpm mechanism. All in all an outstanding timepiece from a respected brand.

Nice compressor style watch
Attractive compressor style watch which is a bit different to the normal diver. Well made and substantial case with a decent finish and no flaws to speak of. AR coated sapphire crystal looks great with unusual distortion. I believe the exhibition back is also sapphire. Nh35a appears to be running at cosc standard so well happy with that. Some YouTube reviews question the inner bezel and the possibility of inadvertent movement but after 3 days of wear I've not had a problem. The bracelet is not a true beads of rice construction but it looks nice and is of fairly good quality with solid end links and milled clasp. There are other more appealing colour variations but I went with the petrol black as the internal minute track is printed white making it much more legible. I paid £209 on sale direct from spinnaker which is about the right price for this. Marking it down to 4 stars on the bracelet but all in all I'm very pleased with this watch.

A curate's egg, but can be made to keep time.
Likes:Decent quality case, bracelet and scissor, adequate lume, feels solid.Disliked, reasons I got a refund:This example was running a whopping 90 (yes NINETY) seconds fast per day. The Seiko NH35 is a strong movement, reliable and - as I know from another watch that came with the NH35 - the movement can be regulated in all six positions and can improve on the maker's 20 minus / 40 plus seconds per day.The other watch I have that came with an NH35 arrived running around zero to two seconds per day so, tool movement or not; this is achievable.Solution: Always contact the watch manufacturer and ask them whether they regulate these third party movements or not, and how close they can get to accurate.More dislikes/ minor frustrations: The bracelet, as I wrote above, is decent enough, but push pins, tiny ones that will bend unless you have a good quality tool to remove and replace them. I managed only to break two and that was with a professional grade tool. Fortunately, post-sizing, I had several straight ones remaining, thanks to my twiglet wrists!I have far cheaper watches whose bracelets use the far more practical screws to assemble the bracelet. OK, so it is true to say that screws can work loose with the constant movement and temperature changes of normal wear, but this can be overcome in a couple of ways. These push pins (aka split pins) work well in some watches, but thisSpinnaker's bracelet is a bit too solid and the pins way too tight to replace after sizing. Please, Spinnaker, consider using thicker pins or, like most watches at this price point; screw pins. The terrible gain in this watch's timekeeping must be a fluke, even ex factory unregulated NH35s usually manage to run very much more acceptably at some single figure amount of seconds per day.I get that the Spinnaker isn't a COSC standard watch, no non-Swiss timepieces could boast that even when they're within qualification range or better, but 1½ minutes + per day is the sort of figure expected in a movement with some sort of a minor issue. But, in spite of my misgivings about this watch, it definitely has the potential to be acceptably accurate if regulated on a timegrapher and the watch is also available with a leather strap which solves the need to be dealing with those link pins so, if you're prepared to accept its shortcomings, this is a handsome watch and could be a great one with more attention to quality control in the areas I highlighted. Two annoying issues, so two stars away from a five star review. Thanks for reading that lot,Cheers,Jaye ××

Initially great, then a total disaster...
Hmmmm?! V pleased with the watch initially. Beautifully designed and well made. However beware... For a brand that markets itself as maritime, seagoing; I wore it swimming once and it stopped that afternoon. Took it to a watch Smith... Corrosion on movement from seawater. Advised that the entire movement needed replacement. Cost £80. Had filled out warranty form online on purchase, so contacted Spinnaker based on their 2 yr warranty. Have now filled out and sent their online repair request 3 times, emailed them directly and completed and sent their website contact page. No response at all over the last 4 weeks. V disappointing and frustrating. Gasket failed the first time I wore in the sea! AND to add insult to injury, the exact same issue happend with my Spinnaker Hull Chronograph!!! I also own their Fluess watch. WILL NOT BE WEARING THAT ONE IN WATER! Was initially a big fan of this brand. Now, I'll be avoiding them like the plague!
