The book is well illustrated. The story seemed to hold the child’s interest.

As a former History teacher and a lover of Literature I absolutely cannot say enough about this book. From the moment I began reading it I was drawn into Colton's world and felt as though I was taking a journey with him back to his childhood. I particularly like the fact that there wasn't just one message in this book, although there is an anti-bullying theme with Cotton's story it goes much deeper than that. Not only does it delve into history but it also makes one ponder the human condition and how important it is to be true to oneself. It is complex yet lighthearted, funny, clever and wonderfully Illustrated. I would recommend this book to anyone at any age that's for sure. Great job Johnny I'm looking forward to your next venture!!!

Really enjoyed this children’s book. Illustrates that everyone can be special in there own way. The author and the illustrations really explains how the little things in life , like Cotton’s unique ability and the memories in your own childhood are to be cherished. Great book. Highly recommended

This was a well written book with good life lessons. It was both thought and conversation provoking. I recommend this tale to parents and grands as a great memorable story to share with your younger or older kids. It was like a story my grandfather would have told me.

Highly recommended read for children of all ages. The illustrations are outstanding and entertaining (hee huh) lol and the writing is top notch. From the authors note, I get the impression that this book pays homeage to his family and friends. An outstanding piece of work from a first time author.

This is a fantastic children's book and yet fun for an adult to read as well. I look forward to sharing this with all my grandchildren for many years to come. The illustrations made it fun for the kids to follow along with as well.

I purchased this book to read to my autistic niece. We really enjoyed the rhythmic story, the funny characters, the fantastic graphics, and the way it teaches kids that it's ok to be different. I also enjoyed reading this book out loud.

This book is an important book for children on an important subject, Childhood Bullying. The book is exceptionally written and illustrated. If you are concerned about the "little ones" in your family, this book is a must read to your "little ones"
