Aurabeam Economy Replacement Projection Lamp with Housing for Samsung BP96-01472A TV

So far so good with this lamp - it is working just fine and gives a nice, bright picture (and the price was excellent). I read several reviews before ordering; this product had 5 stars and free shipping and was in the lower price range, so I decided to try it. I ordered on a Friday night, did not use express shipping - just the free ship option - and it arrived Tuesday so shipping time was excellent. As a bonus, the seller included a pre-paid return shipping label to send ythe old lamp for recycling; I really appreciate that.

Don't buy this product!!! The color is good but the brightness is weird. It's either to bright or to dark. I've had this TV for 8 yrs and I got it bcuz it would randomly turn off I replaced the bulb and it quit doing it. It started doing it again which is why I bought this bulb. It was on for an hr and it randomly shut off already. We will see if they return it and how the next one works.

Beside the cost of this from Amazon being well under the cost going through other companies that have this size bulb in stock it only takes a few minutes to change and replace with the new one. For those that have to purchase this and do not know how to install it my suggestion is go to YouTube where I learned how to remove and replace the old one.

Super easy to install and looks really good actually more bright then the bulb the tv came with I’m glad I didn’t waist money on a super expensive one great deal worth the money

Excelent price, bulb works, but I had to swap the bulb fixture for my old one, I can be pretty handy when I need to, but for those of you who arent mechanical; might want to look elsewhere.

Well, after 3 years it finally quit working. With kids and a stay at home wife, this thing had tons of hours on it. Often I would get home from work and the TV would just be on with nothing playing.. i would constantly remind everyone that these bulbs are junk and they don't last long. Well, this one surprised me. For comparison, the one before this lasted less than a year (different brand).

Arrived early, installed easily.....but....showing signs of failure....you get what you pay for

When the TV died l was upset with the thoughts of the cost of replacing it. My son researched the problem and found that a replacement lamp would bring new life to the old set. Decided to take a chance on this new replacement lamp and I'm very happy with that decision. First of all, the low price was a plus, and the item shipped faster than I expected and was very well packaged. We let it sit for an hour or so to acclimatize, just in case a cold lamp might present a problem. It installed very easily and when we hit the power switch, the brightness and clarity was like night and day compared to the quality of the picture from the old lamp. I swear it's just as impressive as getting a new TV... replacing a 58" 1080p was not in my budget so close after Christmas. I definately recommend this lamp.

Took awhile to get and tracking said package was damaged. Got here and installed it and there was a burning smell for a few days and the tv would shit on and off. 5 months later now and wire in housing caught fire. Tv is now finished and house is full of smoke!

Bought it for my brother's TV when the bulb started to go. It arrived early than expected, which is always good. It was easy to put in and it works wonderful.

I hadn't realized how dim my TV had become. This new bulb went in easy peasy and is, dare I say, TOO bright? The TV looks great again. Very happy.
