My goal with this product was to get a very subtle tan. My skin is pale, and I worried that the color would look unnatural. This product, however, makes it easy to gradually build the color into the shade you want.My routine for using this product is to apply one layer per day for three consecutive days. After the first day, my skin appears a bit brighter and glowier but without a noticeable change in color, but by the third day, my skin is the subtly tan color I want. Then I wait for the color to fade before I apply it again to avoid going too dark.If you don't like the color or you develop streaks, you can exfoliate it off pretty easily, so there's no risk of getting stuck with a color that's not right for you.

It does smell like self tanning lotion. Nothing to write home about. Also bought all the bells and whistles. Didn't get a glowing streak free tan. Got contact dermatitis instead! Won't purchase again. Bills to the Dr and pharmacy, not to mention the physical discomfort comfort. We're so not worth it

The lotion must have spoiled. It was green coming out of the tube.

My face broke out with this new product of CB. I LIKED THE ONE THEY DISCONTINUED. Did not bother my face.

This is hands-down the most amazing self tanner I have ever used in the past 20 years. It has a beautiful scent of gardenia. Doesn't leave you looking orange. Beautiful gentle even tan. Five stars all the way!

Got this in the gift set that was offered on here and I love this stuff. Yes has abit of self tan smell but not bad and is gone after you shower. Gives a nice color and after you wash off the color guide you are left with a more brown gold color. In the sun I just look a light brown color. Even my grandaughter said I didnt look orange just looked tanned. Its very easy to apply with gloves or a mitt and its the best gradual tan I have ever used and isnt orange. If you are light skinned like me one layer will be enough and give you a light tan that looks very natural, enough to take off any bluey white tones. and give you a more healty look. You can apply again after you shower the first time and it will give you a darker tan. Two layers is good enough for light to medium skinned. The gardenia scent is soft pretty smelling not strong. Doesnt rub off onto sheets (I lay down a old white sheet ontop of my sheets when I self tan with any product). I found this gives a better tan than the 1 hour and my skin is soft and I have dry skin due to thyroid issues. You dont need alot either as it spreads easily and the excess in the mitt can cover your hands or feet or face. I will definitely keep buying this self tan and even if you are a noobee at self tan you cant screw this up ha ha! My husband doesnt like self tan he thinks just go in the sun, but says its a nice color not orange like some women he has sseen. Now if amazon would get the new cocoa brown instant tan gel wash off Id like to try that as it would prob be good to extend your tan. The scrub from this company is so awesome too it really does get rid of old self tan. A trick I got from online is if you have left over tan and you want it gone, coaat your body in coconut oil the night before and when you use the scrub the self tan will come off even easier, I was shocked it worked as I had to try it with a diff self tan I tried and didntlike. Oh the scrub name is Tough Stuff. The Chocolate Whip is good too.

It doesn’t smell at all and is a pale brown, not at all orange. Very even and no streaks. Just ordered a ton more! I recently had a small skin cancer, this is going to help me stay out of the sun and feel like I have a healthy glow—-I recommend it and that advice to everyone!

I have used most of the tans on the market over the years but keep coming back to this one. This tan develops over night (not within an hour as previous reviewer mentions). For me it gives the perfect amount of colour. There’s no danger of looking orange as the colour on me is like a natural tan and it doesn’t streak. I also find it quite moisturising and the price is great

Not sure if I'm using it right. Put it on legs and left for hour, had shower and my legs are just as white as they always are

Arrived quite quickly but I was a bit perturbed by the colour ofThe liquid and wonder if it's okay. It looks an unpleasant greenery colour however it works just as well

Lovely gentle tan good for pale skin. Still smells bad like fake tan does tho!
