Amazing product!!I have been suffering with back, neck and shoulder problems for years. Last night was my first night that I slept on my topper. I did let it air out and expand overnight. The smell on the product when it first arrived was apparent but not overwhelming and quickly went away. I can honestly say I have never been so satisfied with a product. Even with my high hopes on how well this product would work to relieve tension in my back, neck and shoulder to allow me to actually get a good nights sleep I was blown away when I woke up this morning and had no pain. I am still amazed on how great I feel. I am very well rested, energetic, and do not hurt. That is more than I can say in recent years.As recommended by a few other reviews on this product I do suggest getting a mattress pad as it does not come with one. I purchased one for about $25. Between the two, this topper is perfect for me. I also have a memory foam pillow which completes this sets perfectly.Usually, I struggle with getting to or staying asleep, but with this topper I was able to fall asleep more easily than normal. I also did not wake up throughout the night from being uncomfortable. I know that some reviews made comments about this, just as other toppers are, being hot; I cannot say at this time if I think it is hot. It is winter in Arizona I won't be able to tell if it's too warm until our summer comes.I researched memory foam toppers for several weeks on a lot of different sites before choosing this one. 5 pounds of density is highly recommended to sleep on. Anything less and your topper will wear out much more quickly(generally). This is a sufficient density and thickness. Some people may prefer 2-3 inch thickness rather than 4 if they want a more firm topper, but do not skimp on the foam density. It is well worth paying a bit more to get something that provides great support and will hold together well.This is a wonderful product and I definitely recommend this if you are missing a good nights sleep!

From some of the researched I did, higher density memory foam tends to have a higher life span than a lower density one - Meaning it won't lose it's memory foam feel. We bought this memory foam to replace an old memory topper we bought a year ago. Our last memory foam topper was only 3lbs. density. It was good for about 5 months until it started sagging then it lost it's memory foam feel. It basically became a $200 oversize sponge. So my wife and I decided to buy this higher density topper. According to the instruction, this mattress require at least up to a minimum of 72 hours to fully expand although ours took only couple of hours. It doesn't have a strong overpowering chemical smell than our previous memory foam . The first night we slept on we can tell right away this has a more comfy "doughy" feel but also gives great support to your body. So far, we're loving it but it can be very warm especially if you live in a warm state like Florida. We bought Cool Touch TENCEL Lyocell Sheet Set to help out and so far its working great. I'll try to update this review in a few months.Update: It has been a year since we bought this. So far, it has kept it's memory feel but not like when its brand new. My only concern is, little pieces of the mattress are starting to tear out.

This topper turned out to be a very good quality (made in USA) memory foam. It's not quite the 5lb density it is advertised as but it is near enough. It is very soft by design so if you are a back sleeper you may want to choose the 3 inch version (they also make a 2 inch)Since it was a topper alone, without a cover or other layers the facts can be checked. 4 inch Queen size topper 80X60X4=19200sq inches (converts to about 11.11 sq feet). It was delivered by Fed-Ex at exactly 50lb. I won't be to fussy with the pound or two for the box and plastic used in the packaging but you can see that 50 pounds devided by 11.11 = approx 4.5lb per sq foot, not 5. In this case since the memory foam was of such nice quality that .5lb difference is not that critical but still, honesty is the best policy. 5.3lb density is the relativly new industry standard for good quality memory foam. There seems to be a good deal of confusion about just what that means. Looks like most people are assuming that the higher the density the firmer the mattress or topper, but this is not necessarily the case. The ILD (indentation load deflection) measures the firmness and is determined by the vico-elastic formulation (recipe as it were). You can have 4lb and 5lb density foam, both with the same ILD measurment (same firmness), however, the 5lb having a higher density will tend to last longer. 5.3lb is the the happy medium between comfort and product longevity that has been determined through trial and error over the years by the foam industry.At 4.5lb density this topper still qualifies as a very fine product and is worthy of your attention. I hope this US company will expand thier product line to include 5.3lb density foam and perhaps 2 or 3 ILD types (Soft, Med, Firm).A word of advice. Stay away from memory foam that is made in China8/3/17 Update: BEWAREWas time to renew my topper, all foam products breakdown over time. - BEWARE, the topper currently shipping is NOT the same as in the past. I purchased my first 4" topper in 2012 and two 3" versions in the years between then and 2016. All previous purchases (4 in total / also purchased a 1') were the very same high quality vico elastic foam. This latest topper is a completely different product . So much so that I question if this is memory foam at all. I contacted 'All Sleep' and they were very quick to issue a Fed Ex return label. However, they have to know once you unpack one of these you will never be able to repack for shipping via Fed Ex, UPS, or PO.

It arrived in a damaged package, with "tears" in the foam. The smell causes headaches and has not gone away after many weeks. The yellow color has changed to a pinkish color similar to raw poultry. Because it is a hazardous material..it is not returnable. Buyer beware.
