Firstly, I’ve been looking at these mugs for a while. They are beautiful in the pictures. They’re very, very nice when, as I did, you get one home. I bought two of them when I was offered a “flash deal” from Amazon which was combined with a £10 gift card. I don’t know where the gift card came from but it meant I only paid £17 for two mugs with free same day delivery! An absolute bargain. How could I resist?Unfortunately, one of the boxes was damaged. It was damaged when it was packed. The outer box was not damaged. And when I opened the box, the mug was absolutely fine but, the decoration on the end of the spoon was missing. So disappointing. I hoped there would be a way to contact the seller to resolve this but my only option seems to be to return it. If I’d bought this as a gift for some one else, I would just send it back. You could not gift it to someone with the damaged box and missing spoon decoration.It looks more like a decorative item than a usable coffee/tea mug. But that doesn’t worry me. At the bargain price I bought these at, I don’t mind just looking at them. But I will try one out with a drink and see what happens. Cleaning them will need to be done carefully I imagine. The decoration is very intricate. They supply a polishing cloth, a nice touch, but hints at the cleaning regimen.So.A beautiful gift. Even at full price. Not necessarily useable. Shame the gift box was damaged. Real shame there’s no way to contact the seller directly to sort out the spoon problem. And the spoon missing it’s decoration. That was so obviously not right when I opened the box I don’t understand how it was missed when it was packed at the manufacturer.I do recommend the mugs as a gift. They look amazing. Just disappointed about the damage to the box and the spoon. At the price I paid and because I really like the mugs, I’m hoping the seller sees this review and contacts me to sort the spoon problem. I don’t want to simply return it and not get a replacement. That is not listed in the return options.

this was a gift for a friend, she loves it and it stands in her pride of place in her kitchen. Loved the look on her face when she opened it, she was so pleased.

I bought this as a gift and the details on the cup are very pretty.However there was excess glue on the rim and if the workmanship was better it would be more perfect.

This is a totally giftable cup and spoon. It will add beauty and class to any teatime ritual, whether alone or amongst friends. Frenemies will be seriously impressed. Keep that sparkle with the polishing cloth too. I have given this as a gift x2, both times the recipient has been very pleased. I just might have to indulge again this time for myself.😊
