I don't see myself ever having to replace this thing at this point. It's very durable and built well, the edges are sharp and the pointy tip is great. It does what it's suppose to do and does it well; what more could you want!

These are sturdy, solid, and very sharp, and open envelopes like slicing through butter. Amazing performance for the price.

The blade doesn't go all the way up to the handle, so you have to hold it straight up as you reach the end of the envelope. After some practice, it works very well. The blade is extremely sharp and the bigger handle is easy to hold, especially if you have arthritis, as I do.

This can be used for letters with ease. But, because of how sharp the blades are, I fine it even better for cutting the tape and removing labels on boxes. Been using one for almost a year and it is still very sharp.

Most of the letter openers that I’ve used in my life, well, at least for the last several years, have had decent or at least OK handles or grips, but the blade would be too short, and that means I have to do two or three swipes with the blade to open a letter or package.But not this one! Yeah, I have to do two swipes, but I’ll take two over three or four any day! And it is so easy to use! The blade is sharp enough to make a nice clean cut, but not so sharp to risk injury to myself, if you know what I mean.So, all in all a great product, and oh by the way, I’d like the fact that the company selling this is a family fun business! Totally into supporting family businesses, as opposed to impersonal large, faceless, corporations, if you know what I mean.
