Neca Robocop - Spring-Loaded Holster Robocop Action Figure

This figure is awesome. I should have bought this version of Robocop first before buying the standard non-spring loaded action one. Whatever, at least I can say I own all of NECA's Robocops. The spring loaded action leg is really cool. Just remember when pushing it back in to push the very front panel only and not to cover your finger over the socket that the peg comes out. You can easily break the panel if you push in the wrong one. Remember to push in the front panel only! I've seen a lot of complaints about broken spring loaded action panels, but 9 times out of 10 it's because the user didn't read the instructions and broke their toy. I was disappointed in the way this figure was packaged though. The clam shell was so tight around Robocop's head that there is a slight impression from where the packaging was securing his head. This is not a problem with all Robocop's just this one so far. My battle damaged Robocop does not have this defect. Otherwise it's a magnificent toy, looks amazing, really love the paint app on it. Too bad NECA couldn't get Peter Weller's likeness rights, I'd like to see an unmasked version of Robocop. Can't wait for ED-209!

Just in time before the movie reboot hits the advertising scene, this excellent figure comes out for us to enjoy. A far cry from the upcoming batman-type suit meets a G.I. Joe hyper-suit version, this classic version is finely detailed and brings a great additional feature in with the leg-holster compartment. If you are looking for a great figure at a budget cost, this one is for you (quite honestly, I would say this is a great figure no matter if your on a budget or not!). Standing at about 8 inches tall, this figure is detailed down to the hydrolics in the back of his legs and comes with an additional hand if you are fan of the big spike/system interface that protrudes from his fist (unfortunately this replaces his firing hand so you can't have both up). The only concern that you should be aware of is the holster compartment itself. This can come apart easily therefore you should be careful when removing the gun or opening/closing the compartment. Follow the directions closely on how to work it or you could end up breaking it. As for articulation... It's Robocop! There is not much for articulation in the first place but where there is, it is fairly accurate to the classic design. Pros: - Tall - Classic design - Detailed - Extra hand (replaces firing hand with spike/system interface fist - Leg-holster compartment (can open and close) Cons: - Leg-holster compartment doors are a little flimsy Bottom Line: A must! Get it before they are gone (especially with the impending movie reboot on the horizon).

I loved the original RoboCop. With the new movie just recently released, I am feeling all nostalgic for my childhood. I am a new toy collector and I realized that I do not own a RoboCop figure. I had a chance to purchase this figure at my local Toys R Us a few years ago at retail price, but decided against it at the time. Now that this item has been out for a little while, there are people who will take advantage of that. Originally priced at about $18, I was able to get this for $25. Not a huge difference, but buyer beware. The figure itself is nicely detailed, right down to the moving hydraulics at his calf. My only real problem with this figure is that the paint job is a little lacking. The spring loaded feature for the gun is nice, but I have a little trouble getting the gun in and out due to my large fingers. Maybe others will have an easier time. Articulation is great for a figure, considering RoboCop himself is a bulky robot. I am happy with this figure and if I can score it at a reasonable price, I will purchase another for my friend.

This is by far my favorite Robocop sculpt. The articulation is wonderful and the spring-loaded thigh holster is beyond cool. Being able to swap fists between the open gun-hand (which really holds the pistol well, including having Robo's finger placed on the trigger) and the data spike is great. The coloration is perfect. The hydraulics behind each foot even slide to adjust for boot positioning. My only tiny qualm is that one of the hydraulics came loose, but I fixed this with a tiny drop of superglue. Just a wonderful figure. Note that the figure is much too fragile to play with- it's for display only.

I've been a huge Robocop fan ever since I was traumatized by the film when I watched it as a kid. This figure is pretty good - the spring loaded hip-holster mechanism works really well, even the pistol fits in his hand with the finger on the trigger. Also the little hydraulics on his ankles actually work. Nice detailing, whoever did the sculpt on this did a fantastic job. For the price its a really great addition to anyone's nerd collection. Highly recommended. I hope NECA does a to-scale ED-209 as well, and of course a Cain robot too.

This is the best Robocop figure! This is a must have for any Robocop fan! This is fully articulated for maximum pose ability and the spring loaded action for the gun is truly an homage to the classic Robocop movie! You won't be disappointed if you purchase this item! :)

Its Nice but though it would be a Bigger Size.. Its about 8 inch lot of money for this something you Don't want to OPEN to PLAY WITH !! Its a WALL HANGER..

For the price, (15.99 retail) this figure is engineered perfectly. Mine had some paint issues, and the mechanism to open his holster was VERY tight, but other than that, an almost perfect representation of Robocop in 7 inch scale. Keep these awesome figures coming Neca!

Arrivé très rapidement et dans un emballage sécurisé, le jouet en lui même est vraiment super et très fidèle au film ! Néanmoins, il y a un léger défault dans la peinture du torse... Sinon il est très bien et très articulé, idéal pour les collectionneurs.

first of all, i love this figure!. As soon as i got it ( it took 2 days to get to me! which was sweet! :), i just stared at the figure. The sculpt is amazing no blemishes on his face no paint flaws at all which is nice. I cant say too much as i dont intend on taking him out of the box. but i love the fact his leg pops open!! I havent had a robocop figure in a very long time so im happy i started again with this one!

Esta figura esta muy bien lograda. Tiene el compartimento de la pistola que puede abrirse para sacar esta y el acabado en si esta muy bien. Si te gusta la pelicula Robocop. Esta es una gran elección.

Top quality Neca range- as always- had been looking for an affordable Robocop action figure for a long time, finally Neca came round to a whole range of them and I finally decided on the spring loaded holster. Great little mechanic, works better then expected- top Robocop figure to date.
