Our bedroom faces East, and gets blasted by the Sun for a good five or six hours. We have a pretty good portable air conditioner, but the room felt like the hot box on the Bridge on the River Kwai, even with the a/c running continuously. We needed something to circulate the cold air coming from the a/c, as the stream of air coming out of it isn’t very powerful (though it is nice and cool.) We were so desperate for a respite from the heat we hung a thick blanket over the entire window, to block out as much Sun and heat as possible. That helped a bit, but wasn’t enough to make our Easy Bake Oven bedroom comfortable. Sleeping was difficult, to say the least. We researched fans on Amazon, and this one got good reviews. But there was a problem; this fan was out of our budget. We are both on fixed incomes, and have to watch every dollar. But we really didn’t want to buy another big box store fan that would work for four months, then conk out. And we wouldn’t be finding a fan powerful enough to make a difference at the low price points of big box store fans. Happily, this fan was available on a payment plan. (Thank you, Amazon!!!) We counted the hours till it arrived, as we were very tired of feeling like rotisserie chickens rotating beneath those red light bulbs. We plugged it in, and tried it out. Let me tell you- the lowest setting on this fan is stronger than the highest setting of air output of any fan we have ever tried. The medium setting is VERY powerful. As for the highest setting- I was leaning down with my face in the stream of air to test it, and I thought my eyelashes were going to blow off. And that is a good thing! Finally, a fan that was REALLY going to make a difference! And- it really does make a difference. We have the fan on top of the a/c unit, with the output nozzle pulled all the way down, so the stream of air from the fan is very close to the stream of air from the a/c. We have had over a month of 90+ days, and this fan has been a life saver. We try not to run the a/c at night to save money, and the fan is strong enough to keep us both pretty cool. That is, a whole LOT cooler than we were before we bought it! Sleep, thank goodness, is possible again. And the combo of fan + a/c cools the room down almost instantly, whereas before, it took at least 1/2 hour for the a/c to reduce the dense cloud of heat in that stuffy room. As we knew we would be running the fan often, and with it being a higher-priced appliance, we bought the 3 year protection plan to go with it for peace of mind. If you are tired of fans that seem they will really cool off a room but end up being wimpy, we *highly* recommend this fan. One thing: it can get loud, especially at the two highest settings. For us, it’s not uncomfortably loud. It’s a “oh I can hear a fan going” kind of loud. The comfort the fan provides is such a happy relief the sound level of it running is not a deal breaker at all. So for us, the fan’s volume is not a problem. If you are on the fence about trying this fan, you should absolutely go for it. With the weather seemingly on course to be uncomfortably hot from now on for a large portion of the year, and having to endure months of 90 degree temperatures, this fan is REALLY coming in handy, and we are glad we purchased it. First, Ive always hated fans. BUT! This thing blows COLD AIR! I LOVE IT. My dog loves it, which is who I got it for. But I want a second one now. :) Its lasted at least 2 mts so wanted to review. Yes, it makes noise, (NOT AWFUL) but it’s COLD AIR! Its not huge, YET it’s powerful. Pulls air from the sides too so you can put it in a chair and it doesn’t mess with the air flow. Will post a video/pic later. THE SHAPE OF THIS FAN IS PERFECT, because it won’t tumble, and you can set it basically anywhere without worries.

This was a little smaller than I expected, BUT! This fan is portable, lightweight, phenomenal power that works very well for its size. These types of fans, are superior to any other fan I’ve owned. In a humid year round state, this is a necessity. It blows strong, it has a circuit breaker, 3 speeds, and the third is so powerful. Compared to standing fans, box fans, the nice Dyson but expensive ones, including the floor fans- this one is similar to those industrial ones to cool. It’s not too loud at all, no issue with noise. To make it even more perfect it be great if it had a remote to turn it off but I’m more happy and satisfied that it works well! The fan rotates up, into the direction you’d want it to blow. It doesn’t rotate on its own, you’ll manually have to adjust it. This fan, it’s worth it. Small, portable, lightweight and powerful.

Let me tell you all something! This fan blows and when I say blows the power of this fan is top tier! I’m buying a second one ASAP! My office is upstairs and operates on its own ac unit it feels like the air isn’t even on I’m in Houston tx so you know it gets really hot here, this fan is worth the money! It’s not loud it’s the power of the air you hear which I don’t mind I just don’t want to be hot! It’s nice and sleek! It’s light weight and I’ll be taking it room to room until I get my second one! The functionality of the fan is really smooth

U need air moving? This lil blower does it. Perfect for hot garage. Has 3 speeds. Low speed is lil quiet but still moves air around. Higher speeds noise is lil louder and it moves air faster. Wish they had different colors other then blk.

The airflow is much stronger than I expected — even the lowest setting is powerful enough for my needs. When turned up, it delivers a strong, almost forced-ventilation feeling. It also comes with two built-in power outlets, which is a surprisingly practical touch. You may not always need them, but when you do, they’re incredibly handy.

I ordered this air mover because it was the only one that could be delivered today and the reviews weren't terrible. If you've used the big ones for drying floors etc. (Like I have at work) then you'll notice it's not as powerful. It's also half or less of that size and still leaps ahead of standard household fans. This is perfect for cooling me down in my small bedroom, drying household floors etc. I've been running a lasko 20" box fan, a smaller box fan near my air vent to attempt to circulate cooler air faster and 2 tower fans (one can operated as swamp cooler). Oh and an air purifier. This beats all of those fans. Nice direct flow air. Honestly very quiet for what it is but with fans and aquariums; I'm use to a higher noise level. It's doesn't take up too much space, the pivoting is perfect to direct air flow. The only issue is actually adjusting it is a little difficult for me; to be fair I'm a bit weak right now, so I find it very stiff to adjust but that's been the only slightly negative thing so far... and even then I'm glad whereever I adjust it too is set and won't drop down. I can finally get a little rest in this heavy summer heat and don't wake up damp with sweat. Already discontinued use of my other fans. Great buy for me.

My drummer and the rhythm guitar player have one of these for live venues. Super durable, ultra quiet, and very cool I even use it while I do woodworking in the shop I imagine it would even work well inside the house, or anywhere you have a reasonable amount of needed circulation.
