Connecting to smart devices make it extra awesome.The downfall once again, are products that come from other countries with minimal direction and or direction that you have to research on your own.Amazon, please make all companies put direction in clear English on the site. A ‘how to’ video would be awesome as well. This should be a mandated directive.If you’re good with installing electrical items, this will be easy for you. Those of you that struggle with smart items might struggle with this due to minimal directions. ***Note 5 to 7 times of clicking on and off to reset it in order to program with your smart device. This was found on amazon with a similar product in a different color by another vendor because it says 5 in the manual you receive.

First of all, once you figure out how to get the light working, and how to link it to Google home if you wanna use it that way, the light is very good. It's bright enough to light up my entire room and can do every color including various luxes of natural light. The light has two rings of LEDs within the plastic shroud (one for natural light and one for RGB) the light looks very natural and isn't very jaring.Installation was very easy. Electrical wise, the light has two connectors, (live and neutral) I happened to already have a hole in my ceiling where a pre-existing fixture was. So I didn't have to do any wiring or cutting holes in the ground. All in all the electrical configuration is standard to any lamp. It does come with two plastic connectors for each of the terminals. I didn't trust this so I soldered everything together instead. Installation wise, I drilled the backing into the ceiling where studs happened to exist using a stud finder, I thought about using command strips but the light is too heavy. (Again standard installing stuff.)The light is a wonderful addition with no issues so far (FYI it has been a couple months since I got it and the light is going strong.)UPDATE: it has been a couple months and function wise, the light is still as bright and responsive and the colors are great, but it never really turns off for somereason unless I cut power tonit completely. For some reason it flickers dimly which is only noticable in pitch black, still concerningANOTHER UPDATE: on the color setting, the light flickers on and off for reddish colors making it unusable, it has been not even a year since purchase and I feel a led light fixture should remain working for upto 5 years

I bought two to replace my bedroom lights, but after looking at it - decided to install in the closets. It looks cheap up close due to the all plastic shade, but that's on me. Installed easily, I cut it out of the weird clips, and used wire nuts. They are colored differently but labelled.Also easy to reset - they have instructions and a video on the app. I was pleasantly surprised by the app! I was afraid that it wouldn't work very well, but everything went without a hitch (on android). Controls easily by Alexa, with full RGB selection support and brightness options.The only slight downside is when you turn it on by the light switch, it takes half a second to respond, which isn't a big deal but may get annoying with time. Also the screws didn't match perfectly with my box, so I used one screw (not included, used from my original light) into the box and wood screws to fix it onto my ceiling (included)Do I really need RGB lights in the closet? No, but the benefit is I can set the color temperature to better see what I'm grabbing, and also set it to automatically turn on in the mornings and off when I am out of the house.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It was great and working just fine but now all the sudden it will not pair with phone or work over WiFi. I have tried everything but it just doesn't work. All other wifi / smart devices are working and yes I tried removing other and then hooking up this light in case there was a limit on devices but no go. So at this point there has to be some fault in the lights WiFi circuit. Very disappointed as I loved it while it was working right, it still works as a normal on/off lightswitch light.Great light, it would be a breeze to install if they included instructions or better yet link to a video. But even without instruction we were able to figure it out.Now it's all installed and works great with Alex.

I brought this because I never could figure out which light switch controls my hallway light. So use my hallway light I use to twist a lightbulb in it just to turn it on and untwist it to turn it off. So I needed a light switch to get the light to reset. Also, when the power was placed back on, it would not let me pair without WiFi. I killed the power to everything. So let’s say I had a hard time trying to figure something out. Even cutting the power from the breaker box to the hallway like a light switch did not work....ugh.... Don’t do what I did and use an extra wire break to current to trick the light. 2 hour instal to find a way to get it to it to pair. It works, but a test button would help out people like me. I would’ve paid extra for the button.I do love the sparkle it gives off when you walk past it and Alexa can control the light super fast. Once I paired it to Tuya (other things are on that app) Amazon sent me a message about the light. In those ways I liked the light....

This is a very good ceiling light.It is very complete, white and warm white, very bright for reading, colors are beautiful and several scenes are pre entered and possibility to customize scenes.The installation on the app is very easy.Installation on the ceiling is also easy. Connecting the two wires could have been better. Nothing is mentioned about the electric installation in the manual.The only bad comment I have I noticed when it is turned off I still can see a light glare oscillating. It is barely perceptible in the complete dark but once you noticed it it becomes annoying so I prefer to use the wall switch to turn it off.
