Will this clear up dark tannin water?

No sadly it won’t, it will clear the algae and water but you will have to remove the debris and dead leaves to stop the tannins from happening

Can the uv clarifier 55w for a 5,000 plus gallon pond counteract the effects to the product? thank you

5,000 gaallons is a lot of water, it will turn the water blue and take about 1-2 days too work. BUT it will not killthe fish but I would just 1/2 of the gallon too start with and about two weeks add the rest too the water
