This is a great, smooth tape measure and has a great reach.It doesn't have the auto-lock my DeWalt has -- I kind of assumed all good tape measures would have that, my mistake. If you read the description, it does not say it has auto-lock.It does have auto-decelerate to prevent it from whipping back.Nice to have metric and inches

Very durable. The tape itself is rigid, so you don't have to worry about it wiggling all over the place. Good quality build, and the magnetized tip has been helpful!

There are more bells and whistles on the hook end of this tape than most other tapes have all together. The hook end is accurate in both directions, butting the wall or hooking the wall. Ability to hook from either the bottom of the tape (normal) or the TOP of the tape! If that's not enough, the hook is magnetic to boot.The marks are clear and plentiful, having both imperial and metric scales. Plus, the back of the tape is fully marked for the entire length. An extra bonus with the markings on the back of the tape is that they laid out in the same way as a grade pole.The protection coating is a little noisy, but it's very thick and runs the whole length. Unbelievably, the stand-out is no joke either, it will easily handle 13 to 14 feet without fail.I really can't find anything wrong with it, other than that it's kinda heavy and bulky, but that's to be expected...it's a 7.5m/25ft tape for crying-out-loud.

This is a heavy and well made tape measure. Maybe it's a little too heavy. I definitely know the difference when I pick up this tape. I purchased this primarily for the combination of metric and standard. I appreciate the magnetic end and the double sided tape.But buyer beware, the return on the tape is powerful and will hurt your fingers of unprepared. It has a slow down button to manage the return but you need to learn to use it. Overall I recommend this product.

"Improved" version. The clip catch on this one slides so you're still accurate if you're hooked over the edge of something or bumped up to something. Build quality appears good and it's a different case than the one that exploded on a customer on a drop "test". There's a one year warranty that is linked to right from this products details so maybe they exchange with the newer model? The print is on both sides of the tape and the marking lines are thin and crisp. The overall size feels compact to me, especially for the 25' length. I didn't do a serious check for stand out and their, but a couple of tries seemed like it would hold up to the advertised statement. The slow release stop is nice too and grabbed well. The tape itself looks like some kind of fiberglass composite mesh that I expect to hold up well. Down side: fractional markers are not explicitly labeled... would be nice to see color coding for inch vs half inch vs quarter inch. Would be nice to see bigger contrast printing or even glow in the dark printing. A magnet would be nice on the end, although that's not a huge deal for me personally. I'm also not a fan of inches and cm... Would prefer to see inches only--not a real complaint as this was advertised and intended.

It has metric and Imperial printed on b both sides High Quality many features not found in regular tape measures , I highly recommend it for anyone needing a metric Tape measure that is built right ! Awesome Item . Best On Amazon !

Purchased because not even Lowe's had a metric AND imperial tape measure. This is the perfect tape measure for any DIY project you might have in the home or on a job site. Feels very good in the hands, magnet is strong, and the tape barely flexes as you extend it out. 10/10 recommend.

I am not so hung up on the admirable reach, but impressed by the metric/imperial combo markings, on both sides for good measure, and with that new feature on builder’s tapes, the finger brake. The end of the tape is magnetic, and the construction is impressive. It’s the only tape I could find with all of those handy features. There’s nothing like quality tools to make a handy person happy.
