Guinea pigs eat wood so je slowly has been chewing away on all the sides, the ramp broke pretty quickly, very flimsy design, not as sturdy as it looked in pictures. The tray at the bottom gets full quickly, and stuff falls out as I try and slide it out to clean. Hetter cage for hamsters which are smaller maybe, but not great for bigger animals like guinea pigs.

A few things about the quality... the wood did have chips and damaged spots. Nothing too severe. Two screws for a latch were too long, went through and split the wood. As for assembly... I did it by myself and took about 45 minutes. It’s much easier to assemble upside down. The directions say to put the wheels on last, which makes no sense because you have to turn it over and everything falls out. Put them on first! Also, there weren’t pilot holes for the lid. None for the hinges or the front latch. So, I needed a drill with a 1/16” bit, a tape measure to find center and a pencil to mark. Not sure if mine was just faulty or if they all come that way.Also, I lined the top level and the bottom piece the ramp sits on with contact paper shelf liner. I don’t trust that the wood is “easy to clean” since my guinea pig pees all the time.The description was a little misleading. It clearly states it’s an indoor cage, yet in the specs & features it says “keeps pets safe, dry, and warm on rainy days” and “wire keeps your pets safe from predator(s)”. It is clearly an indoor only cage. Lastly, there isn’t a “large front door” like it says. There is only a small side door and the top opens.Overall, it deserves a 3.5 star, as the company should have a more accurate description and let people know they’ll need additional tools (unless mine was a fluke). For now it seems my guinea pig is happy.

Needs a floor

I bought this for my Daughter, she just bought her first condo.and has a guinea pig who she wanted to keep in living room but she didn't want a cage type unattractive object since e very thing is brand new and nicely decorated.This is perfect. It's perfect size for her piggy and it's easy to clean, attractive to look at and he's in the middle of everything so receives alot of attention.Glad we purchased!

This is an update to by review below. Upon seeing my review, the company/seller "Aosom" reached out to me and graciously offered me a replacement item or a full refund. EXCELLENT SELLER TO WORK WITH! They care about there product and there customers.Very flimsy dry brittle wood. Screws do not hold in place and legs/wheels shatter easily.

Way too small for a rabbit. Especially a litter box trained one. There is no place to put the litter box and have enough room for the rabbit to walk around.

It is a nice size for my daughters rabbit however, it does chew on the wood which it is make out of. We give the rabbit treats and toys but she for some reason finds the need to chew on the cage.

I like the size, but took longer to assemble than I thought it would. Where wheel was attached the wood was cracked and had to be glued back.
