This installment of Michael Jenks' Templar series continues the tradition of excellence in research, with dialogue, activities and attitudes that appropriately reflect the medeavil times where the series takes place.I came late to the series, and have been reading the books out of order, which has not been a problem as it may be with some series'. Knights, squires, bishops and lords, as well as common serfs come to life. If you enjoy period novels like this, try the Sister Fidelma books, as well as CJ Sansom's Shardlake novels.

Another thoroughly good read. Always look forward to reading each new well written book with the usual cleverly developed plot
