Best mix! Please never change it.
I've tried all the mixes I can get my hands on since quarantine started. This one is my favorite of them all. It's been compared to the "large locomotive" brand (ew, way too sweet—you're paying for sugar, basically), the chocolate brand that starts with "G" (they are great but there's not enough coffee flavor; I still buy this one and mix it with this product for a more chocolatey version), and the brand named after a famous painter/inventor.This one is a perfect balance of coffee/chocolate and the ingredients are much higher quality than the other mixes. It's not just sugar and cheap non-dairy creamer like the other mixes. I will be buying this for life as long as you keep making it! I would love a canister option so it's not so likely to be damaged during the shipping process. (I had that happen to one out of eight bags I've purchased so far.) I would pay more for it for better packaging.

Not what it used to be!
22 years ago I worked for a coffee shop and coffee mail order business that used, sold, and distributed Big Train Blender Mixes, including Kona Mocha. This particular blender mix, Kona Mocha, from Big Train is NOT what it used to be. They've altered their recipe mix or something but it used to have a great coffee taste to it. I'm aware our tastebuds change and our sense of taste alters as we get older, but this just isn't the same. I've been adding coffee to it as part of the liquid, and that helps some. Their other products taste the same or similar to the originals I had years ago, thus I'm sure they've altered their mixture recipe.

Very sweet
I have a sweet tooth, and this is pretty sweet even for me. I don’t mind sweet, but it covers the chocolate and coffee flavors too much, so it ends up just a milkshake rather than a coffee drink. When I’m in the mood for that, it’s great. But if you’re looking for a deeper, richer flavor, this isn’t it. Also I am sensitive to coconut oil/flavoring, so I notice it even when it’s subtle (or when others say you can’t even taste it). FYI if you are sensitive to that too, this does have that coconutty taste to me, and uses coconut oil to get the sweetness. Not everyone will notice that. I still rated it a 4 though, because has good thickness and froth, and a taste that works as long as I know ahead of time what I’m getting. People who aren’t sensitive to coconut and/ or want a very sweet mocha will love it.

Good flavor, second buy for this brand but the bag was popped open.
When I opened the box, there was powder everywhere! I like the milk tea flavor and this flavor would have been my first time trying it but as there's no returns for this item, I had to throw it out for sanitary reasons. Debating if I should give them another try or find a new brand..

Pretty Good, Could be creamier
I have never bought a home mocha mix before , but was looking for something close to either a McDonalds or Starbucks Mocha Frappe. I will say that its better than I thought it would be. It has a strong mocha flavor, but needed to keep adding more to make it thicker and creamier, and by the time I did that, the flavor was a little too strong. And it could use a stronger coffee flavor in my opinion.I think I will try to add cream or ice cream next time and see how that does. Overall it was a nice smoothie tho.

Delicious
I'm not sure what Kona Mocha means exactly outside of "Chocolate flavored drink" but this is very good. It's basically a hot chocolate. I usually mix it with some instant coffee to recreate $10 drinks you can buy at Starbucks.Absolutely fantastic compared to a lot of hot chocolate mixes out there. I think it's due to their creamer because it's the same creamer they put into all of their other flavors and it's the best creamer component I've ever had.

Fantastic!
O.M.G.! I'm in Heaven with those Mocha Angel's. Just got a bag of this the other day and ,since it's going close to 90 here in Michigan today, thought I'd give it a whirl ( no pun intended!). Threw milk and ice in my little Oster and just sort of guessed at the amount since it didnt come with a scoop. I put in 4 tablespoons and found it quite tasty. Good chocolate/ coffee taste. If you wanted it stronger you can add more but I was conservative--- and it was perfect! Will be buying again and again.

I love how this mocha tastes
I love how this mocha tastes. It has a strong taste of coffee and mocha at the same time. No one knows that I make it at home instead of buying.
