The whole brightening things threw me!
I wasn't really sure what to make of this with the whole brightening thing!! It reminded me of the bleaching products aimed at lightening women's private areas and therefore I was a bit cagey about trying this! It seems to be fairly pleasant to use and luckily didn't irritate me too much. I don't think that I would buy for myself though as it's not ultra mild.

Do you really need it brightening?
I find an intimate wash that claims to whiten skin just a bit strange, I’m certainly not going to test it’s claims, which would involve a mirror and, well let’s not go there!I regularly use a well known brand available from most supermarkets and I was interested to see if the moisturising effect promised from this company was helpful, as menopausal itching is an absolute nightmare. The clear gel is thick, with a gentle, pleasant scent. It lathers up well and you only need a small amount, unless you are using it as a shower gel as well.I didn’t experience any itching or stinging and it left me feeling nice and clean. There’s been no reduction in the dreaded itching yet but I’ve only used it a couple of time. I’ll update my review if this changes after continued use.Quite expensive compared to other intimate products available but if the claims come to fruition then it’s worth purchasing.Hope you found my review helpful

Nice body wash for intimate area
As an intimate wash it's a nice enough product, although perhaps a bit too thin to be used in a cost effective manner. But it's pleasent. The mild scent of the overall product is very gentle and I've had no reaction to this at all which for me is a great bonus as it means a good intimate body wash at hand. (I find the leading brapnd too drying and not well suited to me)As for whitening... Well age and other factors do alter our natural look and skin tone but I wouldn't say I've ever thought oh I wish it were lighter? But of course there must be a market for it as whitening products for intimate areas and underarms are becoming relatively common.

Pleasant aroma and gentle
This is a thick consistency and smells fresh and slightly floral. It lathers to a nice creamy lathe and is a nice gentle product that has caused me no adverse allergic reaction.I am not sure why it needs to be brightening but it does leave me feeling fresh and clean and not itchy or irritated t all.

For intimate washing
Bain Blanc is a intimate wash in a 200 ml bottle. It’s very easy to use and can squeeze as little or as much as you like. It is kind and gentle to your delicate skin. Hormonal changes and age can darken the skin but with regular use this wash just brightens the skin where there is hyper pigmentation. It leaves the skin fresh as a daisy and soothed.

Leaves you feeling fresh and soothed
A very good quality product, pleasant scent and works nicely. Don't need to use much, the gel lathers up well and is very gentle on the skin. Great for use in the shower, leaves you feeling fresh and soothed.

Overall good quality
Quite an expensive price for a tube of body wash, however it is a generous size. It is, however, formulated by French experts in gynaecology who have used ingredients that are suitable and beneficial to those who are postnatal or experiencing irritation in intimate places. As I'm not either of those, it's difficult to comment on the product's health benefits, however I did find this product really nice to use. Compared to the Ban De Soie (by the same manufacturer) it has a thinner consistency and emerges from the tube quite quickly, so be aware when using as, for a relatively expensive product, most people will want to use sparingly. I found I needed a slightly larger amount of product to produce a lather that with the Ban De Soie. I've used this product mainly as a body wash with a sponge at the sink, so perhaps in the shower it would lather more easily. It is perfume-free and colour-free which is inevitable given the type of product it is, this is nice as it doesn't then clash with other deodorants or perfume you may be using. It leaves you feeling fresh, clean and comfortable. Overall a quality product and the packaging looks stylish displayed in the bathroom!
