Amazing support!
This bed is amazing for people with back issues and I have mine on a motorized lift. I ordered the plush, I like a little of poof when I hop in to bed and it delivers. Speaking of Delivers we had white glove service, what an absolutely amazing experience! This will be a great investment for years to come! Simmons Beautyrest is amazing.

No Worse than a More Expensive Mattress
This is just a cheaply made mattress. It'll last for a short while and it then rots away in the landfill and you're back in the market. Many years ago, I switched from expensive traditional bedding (boxspring + mattress) to my own design. Let's face it - modern mattresses are a scam. Spring steel and has been replaced by regular steel so the springs wear out faster. All of this 'pillow top' nonsense is just bunch of cheap eggcrate foam and a sliver of gel if you're lucky - it all crushes pretty quickly and the warranties are utterly worthless. I got the message when I cut open my $3,000 mattress that failed in a couple of years and saw the truth.I use an extra firm mattress as a base and levels of latex above. I use a firm 4" layer of latex, a 3" layer tuned to the preferences of the sleeper (a King using , and a 1" soft layer on top. I put the latex layers in a bamboo zippered cover. The result is a very comfortable bed at an affordable price. Using a cheap extra firm mattress as a base provides some overall deflection, and since we're not sleeping directly on the mattress it last far longer that it otherwise would. The last mattress lasted about 10 years.So... I ordered a new one from Amazon - King, Extra Firm. Truck shows up - I examine box to confirm it says "King, Extra Firm", it does, and I leave the crew to it. They do a nice job and I walk in and see.... a "Queen" mattress. Yet, the box was mislabeled. If you order one of these make sure you measure the box before you accept delivery because somewhere along the line these are getting improperly labeled.

Encased in heavy duty plastic. Delivery box.Mattress was NOT compressed. Does NOT have wire framing inside around the edge, only high density foam around innerspring core. Single sided (almost nobody makes old fashioned double-sided, wire-framed innerspring mattresses). BRS900 = Highest coil count of any innerspring brand.Amazon gave me kid glove delivery (younger person wearing work gloves). I just needed someone to deliver inside my 9th floor apartment door. They'll set it up for you too and,or haul away the old mattress, free of charge

When they say "Extra Firm" - they're NOT kidding
I am 6'2" and 227 lbs. I did one of those sleep matching machines at one of the mattress stores. It indicated I would do best with an extra firm. SO... Enter this mattress. It is great on my back, but on my side, where I normally sleep - it IS a bit firm (read "sort of painful after a while"). I threw on one of those memory foam mattress pads - about a 3" thick one - and it pretty much did the trick. If there was a step DOWN from here, that would probably be beneficial for me. But it's not bad with a little foam under me. As well, it may actually break in after another few weeks and grace me with a bit more give.

Better than I could imagine!
If you like really FIRM mattresses - this is your choice!I tried so many of them in mattress stores, even some super "firm" memory foam ones - they were all too soft for us.My husband and I are from Europe, originally from different regions of it, but we both find the firmest mattresses the most comfortable and ones that give the best support for your back. I heard from salesmen that many people from Europe prefer firm' over 'soft'. I guess we are those people! :)I know for a fact it IS a big challenge to find this sort of mattress in US because most of people prefer soft ones. So they often don't even display them in shops.Believe me it is very unlikely that you will find more "firm" option than this .Not mentioning a good price.I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT..Update.I take one star off. After about half a year the mattress got slightly deformed. Whatever is inside of the mattress, it's sagging up. We have an average weight, I'm about 135 lb, husband is about 220 lb.Too bad, because for the first few months it was absolutely perfect 😔. But it didn't last as long as our previous mattress. Nowhere near as long.
