great overview of IR theories
Jennifer Sterling-Folker, the editor of this textbook, uses the 2003 Iraq war as an example to highlight the differences between various International Relations theories. She contributes the introductory section to every chapter, while two representatives of the theoretical approach in question are responsible for further sections in which they apply the specific theorising to the case of the Iraq war.Very readable. The textbook is useful for all students and scholars from other fields of political science and international law. It also offers very fascinating perspectives of the Iraq war. Highly recommended.
