My daughter loves these LED lights! She previously had some Christmas lights strung up around the edges of her bedroom ceiling in her room which she really liked, but we decided it was time to upgrade, so we swapped the Christmas lights out and I ran these LED lights around the edges of her ceiling.Setup was painless. While the kit did come with multiple mounting options: double-sided adhesive, zip-tie style with adhesive backing, plastic slide-on clips with adhesive backing, and clips that can be attached using included screws--so far the lights have stayed up just fine using only the adhesive on the back of the light strip. I did just a couple anchors for where I hid the small controller box behind a stuffed animal net, to make sure there's no risk of it pulling the strip down over time.There is an app for phones that we played with a little bit, but mostly we have used the remote. There are so many options to choose from, like solid colors, flashing colors, flashing as it cycles through colors. It's actually a little overwhelming how choices there are! But the coolest feature by far is the music sensing setting. It can sense the rhythm/beat of music and flash the lights in time with it. There are some sensitivity settings and tweaks to control how fast/smooth it is able to transition in time with the music. We left the sensitivity around the middle setting and she prefers the "disco" style.The very day I installed the lights, she wasted no time inviting her friend over and they pretended to have a dance party with the flashing lights and listening to music. They even function as a nice ambient nightlight on a dim setting. These lights are a definite hit!

My daughter had been bugging me for quite a while for some lights for her room. Chose this set based on good reviews and the ability to use an app to control in addition to the remote. I also liked the fact that it was appropriately sized for the room and there were only two strands of lights instead of three for the length needed as with some other brands. That way I could run the two strands around the room from one central connection point. The LED's are plenty bright and easy to install and use. I washed the wall first and then pealed the tape backing and just pressed them along the wall. Stuck easily with no fuss. Been up for two weeks now with no signs of movement or coming loose. There are different modes of operation and customization. Control is easier with the app installed on your phone although I could not get the flash with music part to find the music on my phone. I didn't try to hard though because i'm not all that worried about it neither is my daughter. One minor issue is that on the included remote one of the buttons changes the settings on the tower fan that is also in the room and the remote for the fan will change the color of the lights so the two remote controls share some of the same language. Not a big deal. just a side note. Best of all was the prompt customer service. I had a minor problem and reached out by email one evening and was promptly replied to even though it was kind of late in the evening and i was taken care of rather quickly as well. Thanks.

Bought these thinking they would add some holiday ambience to our rather bland outdoor light display. Since I was not sure they would survive outdoors (heavy snows, frigid temps) I decided to line our street facing second story windows, which is also the master bedroom. From inside, it was perfect - a bit of a glow, almost a strong nightlight feel for the room.Of course outside, it looked a bit more alien autopsy than I expected. What's great though is the phone app allows for fine tuning of color and brightness, so softening it a bit and alternating it with a blue has worked out well. They went up amazingly easy, and I put another set up in my office using the corner connectors. The connectors take a bit more effort but work wonderfully. These are just great and I am looking forward to lighting up our home all year round!

The media could not be loaded.  Based upon how cheap the item is, you cannot expect great quality. However for my application it worked perfectly. Great for under bed lights!

The Good: Received quickly. Very easy to install and use. Good instructions (there are grammatical mistakes in the narrative since it's coming from China, but I think most people can figure out what it means). Lots and lots of features using the remote. Good adhesive.The Bad: As shown in the picture, several of the LED's appear to be defective. They will glow only in red. Not white. Not any other color. Only red. I've emailed the company to find out if they will fix this somehow.For now, I have to give this purchase only 1 star. I'll update the rating if the supplier corrects this problem to my satisfaction.UPDATE 7/19/20: I emailed the company about the defective lights and received a reply within 24 hours that told me a replacement would be sent to me. The replacement arrived within a week. The lights are great. When a company stands behind their product and promptly corrects any problems, you can't ask for much more than that. Rating changed to 5 stars.

You are getting 25’ of strip lighting that is brighter than I was expecting, adapter than detects music and can connect to your phone, a remote, and connection accessories. It has a option to also control it from the strip lighting itself which a nice feature. I am not sure if I can connect more which is my biggest worry of this as 25’ is only good for certain areas of my house. The app is good allowing a lot of features and functions with the best being the music detection. If you need just a lot of lighting this may not be the best, but if you want a good price on 25’ with full functionality of feature I would recommend this.

Installation was different than expected, thought it could be plugged in but that's not the case. It did come with instructions for installation which is good. It arrived very quick too.
