Anna Nicole Smith: Portrait of an Icon, Signature Edition Paperback – February 1, 2008

A very touching tribute, showed a different side of her. I idolized her when I was a teen, and am still fascinated by her life. She was larger than life and it is interesting to see read the different accounts from different people who knew her.

This piece of garbage doesn’t even qualify as a “book “.I can barely get through the first chapter because the editing is so bad. And when I say bad I mean there are whole phrases that are repeated over and over again. The content and the writing is basically elementary. Literally meaning grade level.

I have seen some negative reviews for this book so far. I would have to say that I disagree ENTIRELY. I think any true Anna Nicole Smith fan would LOVE this book. It is exactly what it says it is, a tribute to the beautiful Ms. Anna Nicole Smith. If you want to read trash and lies with shady "sources", read something like, Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death. I am not done Great Big Beautiful Doll: The Anna Nicole Smith Story, but if you want to read something to find out more about Anna it seems to be good in that respect. But if you already love Anna and just want to see the inside of her life from a certain point on, and see a true loving tribute, this is an excellent book. I read it in a day, yes it IS an easy read. But there are funny, cute stories about Anna and of course, there are tragic ones. This is an inside view of two friends who, while they may not have known EVERYTHING about Anna, or maybe they didn't want to out of respect for their friend, witnessed Anna's behaviours and can give insight into what was going on especially during difficult periods in her life. It doesn't go into detail about drugs and alcohol like the two aforementioned books but it is exactly what it says it is, a tribute. It is not extremely detailed, it is little moments, a LOT of cute pictures and I would say a loving goodbye to their friends and to share with fans who love her now.

No, this book is not meant to be a long story. It's Anna's life in pictures. I've seen a lot of pictures of Anna and this book actually had a few I had never seen before. I did like this book and it took me around an hour to look at it and read the captions and short stories. If you want a long read on Anna's life, choose something else. If you'd like a book of nice big pictures of Anna, Dannielynn and Daniel, this is the book for you. Why fuss over "gross" pictures? Did you completely miss who Anna was and what she did? Duh! Yeah!..she loved her some "manhood" and she let people know. If you don't like that sort of thing, best to stay away from anything Anna Nicole :) Hope this helps some people in their decision on this book. Rest in Peace Anna!

The book had some good facts and pictures but lacked story telling zest! Sometimes, the chapters seemed as if words were only written to fill the page.Most of the information has already been shared with the public! So, not really any different information, presented by her friends.It was, however a nice tribute to Anna Nicole Smith` s life.

Very interesting the truth will come out!!!

KINDLE - Layout awful the text is doubled up, shouldnt be sold to go on the kindle unless it had these issues fixed, i have tried reading for 20 pages and must of re-read at least 11 of these pages twice!
